Donald Trump is not the only one with cause to complain about 'fake news'.

This morning, watching Mark Latham's Outsiders, I learned that boy and girl cub reporters have been enthusing in the East about news reader Tracy Spicer's promotion to 'investigative journalist', and how she is 'working with police' in relation to her intention to expose 40 household names that she alleges are sex predators.

A knock-off of the Harvey Weinstein furore in America.

However, Mark Latham contacted the police in New South Wales and Victoria, where all the bad stuff happens, and both forces advised Latham that Tracy Spicer has not contacted them, and they 'don't know what she is talking about'.

The mass media really is pathetic and completely untrustworthy.

Hey ttbn,
Have you got a subscription to Mark Lathams Outsiders?
Last I heard a few weeks back he put up a paywall, similar to other shows on YouTube by RebelMedia such as Gavin McInnes.
Is the show still free?

Click bait when you clicked on a link to see the story they got money.

A lot of the stories now are click bait or paid stories advertising disguised as a story or article.

If on the radio they want you for ratings so will be happy to promote sensational stories, does not matter if it is true or not they got you and others.

Personally I could not care less about fake news from privately owned business. The daily failed narratives and Trump hating from the national broadcasters is what is so disgusting. To think they are totally overpaid for peddling half truths and false religion.

I've located the core of the problem; you were all right - it was the ABC all along.

Read this article, they are arguing against a law proposing they should act 'fair and balanced'

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-11-02/whats-wrong-with-being-fair-and-balanced/9111234

The ABC explains things:

"When it comes to "fair and honest dealing", we explain it is essential to maintaining trust with audiences and those who participate in our programs, but we also explain that sometimes deception or the breach of an undertaking might be justified in the public interest."

(So they lie.)

and further:

"When it comes to 'balance', we explain very carefully that 'impartiality does not require that every perspective receives equal time' but that one of the hallmarks of good journalism is balance that 'follows the weight of evidence'."

(With the help of Leftist Uni Professors, they push Leftist BS)

Hmmm... Well it is what it is I guess.

All the ridiculous anti Trump stuff is probably offering him good camouflage if he does have any really dirty washing to hide.

There is so much puerile garbage trotted out every day by the left rabble, including our ABC, that any real story would just disappear in the huge volume.

Like the boy who cried Wolf too often, they make fools of themselves, & have the public develop an immunity to their drivel.

I think the childish criticism of Trump is amazing. The U.S seems to have turned into a giant kindergarten, with the media, the Democrats and even some Republicans grumpy because their dirty nappies have't been changed .

At least most of Hilary's Hollywood backers have shut up. I wonder why?

This whole saga with Hillary is going to turn around on her soon.
The next 6 - 12 months will slowly see them going after her instead of Trump.

' The next 6 - 12 months will slowly see them going after her instead of Trump'

not to sure Armchair. The regressive are very nasty bitter people. Look at the ABC still going after Abbott and blaming him for Turnbull's downfall.

Heres an example of real fake news.
This is the 3rd biggest story right now:
http://www.abc.net.au/news/
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-11-04/how-russians-hacked-democrats-and-clinton-campaign-emails/9118834

Notice how no-one puts their name on the story?
They are giving you a pre-written narrative, probably sent to them from a foreign source.

Notice how there's no comments, so no-one challenges the story?
They don't wan't you publicly asking questions, they just wan't to state their 'facts' - 'facts' being whatever story they come up with to suit their cover up.

They don't want you asking:
Why were members of the Government using illegal Gmail accounts and private servers - hidden from government oversight?
What was the real substance of John Podesta's emails?
How do we know it was a hack and not a leak?
- They took everyones phones and laptops, suggesting that they thought there was a leak, not a hacker.
They did not allow FBI to look at DNC servers.

A real journalist would've added these points in.
The reason you don't see these things is because it's fake news, of the worst kind.
This is the kind of stuff that all the other MSM outlets will start parroting with no real basis whatsoever.
They think that no-one is going to go and fact-check all this stuff, but some people did.

There wasn't just 'Fancy Bear' there was also 'Cosy Bear'...
It's all here; if you want to sift through the hundreds of hours of videos.

Let's not get too immersed in U.S politics, but concentrate on our own crumbling, decadent and downright dangerous apology for government.

Yeah sorry ttbn, fair call.
There is a crossover however with what's going on in the US to what goes on here, at least in respect of the lefts agendas, which you have to admit drives a lot of policy here, ingrained into the system at the university level.
You know in this country we now assign jobs on the basis of diversity quota's and equality now rather than merit, and this is true right from Mcdonalds, to the Police Force, and to our Armed forces.
If you look at it realistically on an individual basis, we're discriminating against the best candidates for the job because they aren't a part of a minority; or because they're male.
- This could be seen more or less discrimination against White Australian Males, when they are the best candidates for the job.
You really can't look at it any other way, but this discrimination is ok apparently.
And this is government policy - all in the name of equality.

The reason I don't comment so much on Aussie politics, is because I'm naive to much in regard to our own politics.

AC,

No need for 'sorry', and what you say about the similarities is true; but we can't do a thing about the Yanks; we at least get a vote here, and some of the bludgers might even take notice of us.

On a different matter: I told you that Mark Latham was only available via subscription, now, but Joesephus decided go tell that he was available on You Tube. No. Only the old shows are still on You Tube, and I think that you might get a access to his brief 'video editorials' but not the hour long programs with guests, Zeg the cartoonist, Left Lunatic Of the Week, and feedback from viewers, much of which has lately has been on this hire-a-sheila instead-of-bloke crap you refer to here. There are also Latham's Telegraph articles. $80 a year.

You might not have seen that ML is being sued in the Federal Court for comments he made about a Left wing, white-hating Muslim. OK for the Muslim to bad-mouth us on twitter, but oh so wrong to say anything about him, the a...hole.

Hey ttbn,
I saw a couple of Mark Lathams 'Outsiders' very early episodes, and I think I even mentioned his show here, but I only saw a couple and missed the bulk of his shows over the last few months, I finally went back and had a look a couple of weeks back and he said it was his last show and that he was moving over to a paid platform...
Seemed like a good show the few episodes I saw and I'm not surprised it's somewhat successful.
We don't have much in the way of real down to earth old school true-blue Aussie TV anymore.

- The thing about the US...
Since the election I looked into a whole heap of the real dirty stuff going on in the background of US politics, mostly from the author linked above; and it was a strange learning curve - because he dug up so much stuff, so many different lines of dirty dishonest behavior it's almost like getting a profile or MO of the crimes themselves rather than the person who committed it.
If I understood Aussie politics better and had the time, inclination and wallspace I could make a whole layout of all our politicians, business people, leftist groups, think tanks, and you could almost go looking for the crimes themselves, just by knowing where to look, reverse engineering the MO's of the crimes themselves using the US's dirtiness as a template.
But I'm not a journalist...

Sometimes I wonder about the news agencies whether they're really trying.
I look at some of these so called 'political editors' of today and some of them write opinion pieces (especially the left) completely absent of any fact whatsoever...
I reckon if you really tried you could dig up all sorts of ugly stuff.
How is it that nobody knew half the pollies weren't even eligible to be there?
Was there not a single person in the country who looked into it?
Some things baffle me.
