“Explosive data” reveals that 50% of voters think that our country has “changed beyond recognition”, and it sometimes feels like a foreign country. The population increased to March 2017 by 384,000, dominated by Asians.

A majority of in the survey (74%) rejected the idea of more people, and complained about the costs. A majority wanted immigration cut.

Elites responsible for high immigration and multiculturalism have themselves been insulated from the effects of these policies, and assumed that most Australians supported them, the survey found.

Quality of life and “rapid change in Australia's ethnic and religious make up were concerns. (Source Herald Sun)

The following link is worth a read:

http://theconversation.com/australia-doesnt-have-a-population-policy-why-78183

We're told under the chapter - "What is a sensible approach
to population policy?" that -

"A renewed, earnest and transparent population conversation
is needed. With ever more reliance on immigration we must go
beyond the unhelpful pro-immigration versus pro-nationalism
debate to consider our population prospects"

There's more on the link.

"Ethnic offenders ‘over-represented’ in youth crime population
Aneeka Simonis and David Hurley, Herald Sun
October 19, 2017

YOUNG criminals from Sudan, the Pacific Islands and indigenous communities make up almost half the inmate or parole population in Victoria.

The disturbing rise in ethnic youth offending has been described as a “glaring over-representation” and has given rise to fears of entrenched violence.

The findings, released in the 2016-17 Youth Parole Board annual report, reveal more than 40 per cent of the state’s youth inmates and parolees were from high-offending racial groups.

Africans, mostly from Sudan, represented 12 per cent of the state’s youth criminal population.

Maoris and Pacific Islanders made up 11 per cent and were subject to a three-year rise in custodial sentences issued through the Children’s Court.

“The board remains concerned about the violent nature of the offending for which many of these young people have been found guilty, as well as similar behaviours at times continuing in custody,” the report read.

Almost half the number of youths released on parole had their orders revoked, due to reoffending and breaches, according to the report.

Of the 94 cancellations, 28 youths reoffended on parole, while 66 failed to comply with release conditions.

Formal warnings also jumped 64 per cent over two years.

Minister for Families and Children Jenny Mikakos said the state government had cracked down on misbehaving parolees with strict legislation, and the rise in ethnic youth crime was “unacceptable”. But Opposition spokeswoman Georgie Crozier claimed the government had “lost control”.

“Under Daniel Andrews, young thugs on parole are more likely to commit further crimes, like assault, home invasions and carjackings,” she said."

Kevin Andrews warned of these problems and was labelled racist by every regressive. When the obvious pain and discomfort comes to communities by such idiotic policies the regressives then blame the Australian population for not being accepting enough. Interesting enough few if any of the politicians (especially regressive ones) are prepared to live in the ghettos they have created and expect all neighbouring suburbs to grin and bear it. Once we had pollies who cared about our nation. NOw we have regressives who only care about trying to prove their warped/perverted narratives work. They don't and everyone else has to live with and clean up their mess.

I love to sit back and watch a country unravel, been there done that!
Australians need a new name for their country, how about Auzkong, and a national rainbow flag.

From, 'Finally, an honest debate about immigration'

Bob Carr: “Australia’s got currently the most ambitious rate of population growth in relative terms of any developed country in the world. Our population growth rate is more than Indonesia, it’s really that of a third world country. ..

Now that’s my proposition: that we should moderate the rate of population growth...
I don’t think you could persuade many Australians that having an immigration program that brings an additional 80,000 to 100,000 into Sydney and Melbourne each year is not ambitious. And I don’t think there are too many people who are looking at the challenge of infrastructure keeping up with that population challenge who wouldn’t think that toning it [immigration] down a bit wouldn’t be a good thing…

We are talking about the denser urbanisation of the coastal strip of Eastern Australia. This is not a debate about filling up an empty continent. It’s a debate about seeing that towards the end of this century, Australia’s population will be concentrated in Hong Kong-style towers in a densely populated fertile coastal strip. And it is this geographical consideration that makes Australia a fundamentally different proposition than North America…

I’d just like to have some honesty in Canberra – these decisions are made in Canberra [which] has the lowest density of any capital city. ."

Judith Sloan: “The pro-immigration lot will say that there’s not enough investment in infrastructure, public transport, in schools and the like. But the truth of the matter is that 70% of these migrants go to Sydney and Melbourne, and up to a point it’s impossible to keep up with the infrastructure needs of such an ongoing surge in the numbers, so I think it would be very good public policy to reduce the annual intake… and see how we go for a period of time. I think what Bob Carr is suggesting is quite a modest proposal…

When in Bangladesh, you will notice police operate in teams, armed with long poles. Natural justice is metered out by them on the spot. Painful to watch, and more painful for the recipient.
A good old fashioned bribe, is a handy way to escape though, true.

But also you notice all police have a podgy gut; simply because they live more comfortable lives. It's a job to aspire to.

Australian police need to be freed-up with the overcontrolling nannyism which plagues natural justice, and the good outcomes it can have in addressing bottom feeding law and order problems. SA you may ask? A bullet is simple!

I'm not surprised with that result.
I keep telling you all it's only the southern capital cities which have already been taken over which are pro-multiculturalism.
People there go along with it because they don't want to speak out about it and risk being victimised as 'racists' for having their suburbs overtaken by foreigners, it's not like they can do anything about it.
The voice of pro-multiculturalism is just a paid advertisement on the TV or radio pushing an agenda, or foreigners in those cities whinging because they want more for nothing.

In this country whinging and telling everyone you're a minority and a victim gets you everything.
Sign of the times...

A nation made up of bitza this and bitza that; has no national identity and thererfore no national pride.

A nation of people who are bitz of this and bitzs of that will not care for nor fight for anything out side their own personal lives and family.

They will have no concern for the country at all because they have no national pride at all.

A country with a strong sense who they are, what they stand for and where they are going, like Isreal for example, will not easily surrender its soverignity.

Israel takes in few, if any, immigrants from its own region.

What I find odd is the fact that mass immirgration from the middle east seems to be predominaly aimed at white countries.

Referundemdrivensocienty,

I agree. A multicultural society is very unlikely to pull together in
a crisis. We just have to hope we never have a serious crisis like an attack on the country.

As for Muslim immigration to non- Muslim countries, that's part of the takeover strategy, another fact that that the idiots responsible for immigration and multiculturalism don't want to face up to. Muslim terrorists are not the main threat; Muslim immigration is.

Their reason for wanting mass migration into Australia IMO, has more to do with making a Australia a nation of bitza this and bitza that so there will be far less national pride and far less national identity thus making us much more willing to surrender our sovereignty.

Compare this to a country like Israel who takes in near zero immigrants and has a very strong sense of national pride and national identity.

This makes them an unlikely candidate for surrendering their sovereignty.

Cheap labour is only a bonus outcome.
