Would you find this acceptable?

"Changes to the NSW Public Health Act mean people with AIDS, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections will no longer be required by law to tell sexual partners they’re infected.

But there’s a catch. If they fail to use “reasonable precautions” [ie simply don a condom] to prevent infecting them, they could face six months in jail, or an $11,000 fine."

So he can enjoy his secretive bisexuality AND have an STI, but he is under no obligation whatsoever to inform his intended female conquest of either. Not as long as he claims later when the Dr gives the woman the bad news that he did take a 'precaution'. But he would say that later. As if a condom is 100% reliable anyhow.

Her informed consent to sex obviously comes second to him getting his rocks off.

can't expect any better from a totally sick secularist/feminist society who have no moral base to draw from. No wonder they are happy to sexualise kids and deny biology and gender via ' safe' schools.

These legal changes are not acceptable. they are disproportionate to any perceived problem. The first and foremost concerned should be the public health aspect of preventing the spread of STD's, and not the vilification of those suffering from such sexually related diseases as HIV. The fact is the existing laws have been successful in prevention, NSW has this year seen a 39% reduction in the number of new HIV cases, the lowest since the 1980's.
The vagary of the proposed law is a major concern, with a new clause covering ‘reasonable precautions’, the law will shift that determination away from magistrates, who now act on a case by case basis, to prosecutors and police who will have to formulate there own determination as to what constitutes 'reasonable precautions'.
What is not needed is a new law which creates an environment where there is a shift away from testing and reporting of HIV and STD's, thus aiding in control and prevention, and the necessary treatment of victims. Instead the new law appears to focus on the counterproductive aspect of punishment of suffers and not prevention and treatment, with increased penalties of imprisonment and fines. it goes without saying those that attempt to intentionally infect these diseases on others should be punished, but punishment should not be the only consideration of the law.
The conservative Health Minister Brad Hazzard, would better serve the community and all concerned if he dropped the philosophical slant of wanting to punish the victims, and concentrated on what is best for public health.

runner, fantastic contribution with your one line run through as usual.

Remember when AIDS was sweeping across America.
For six months one man had sex three times a day with gay men giving them AIDS from Los Angeles to St Louis.
Remember how everyone was told anyone could be infected.Governments around the world spent billions of taxpayers money on the message and control.
How many hetrosexual entertainers died of AIDS. NONE.
How many "gay"entertainers died of AIDS.Thousands.
