"The newly-installed New Zealand Labour leader Jacinda Ardern has fired up after being quizzed over her plans to have a baby, sparking a national debate and accusations of sexism."
Jacinda is 37 and has openly discussed her desire to start a family, however, biology dictates that she has only a few short years to achieve this. Feminists declare loudly that she shouldn't be asked this question because it would never be asked of a man. Does the country have the right to know whether the potential PM is committed?
Similarly, are employers such as the US military expected to be blind to the needs and costs associated with employing non-traditional genders?
