In answer to your question: no, I don't think they will. Also, Abbott didn't do that good a job himself; he is very wise after the act.

Doog,

"Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections"

Northern Ireland from the mid 1920s till just recently and probably in the future with the [anti] Democratic Unionist Party propping up the British Conservative Party.

If only Abbott would of had the guts that Trump showed. He should of slashed the leftist propaganda abc, sacked Triggs for lying and put an end to killing our Industry by the warming fraudsters.

one wonders whether the Governments idiotic payout to illegals awarded by the courts today will now open up the borders again. Labour/Greens/Turnbull really work their hardest against Australia's interest. The swamp needs draining quickly if anything is to be salvaged.

Doog, without doubt one of the worst smeer camp in an election was the Kevin 07 against work choices, as the only real ones effected were the poor to average workers, yet everyone kicked up a stink.

Now how do you think that gamble, the Kevin 97 one, worked out?

I'll give you a hind, for zero debt to unrepayable debt in less than 6 years. Not bad hey!

Oh, and by the way, that $90 million we are paying for the poor soles who were soooooo poorly treated, had we not taken the Kevin 07 gamble, would they have even been there?

I see master Wayne Swan is having his two bobs worth, you know, the worlds best treasurer. What a joke!

I think the laws need to be changed to curb the power of the courts over the government when it comes to foreign policy.

Let the courts deal with domestic and civil matters.

The present boat people situation and the war with terrorists are matters of national
security. I do not think the law courts of a country should be able to override an
elected government in matters of national security.

The civil law courts are bound by too many justice laws that do not have the powers
and should not apply to enemy guerilla warfare and combat situations. We are dealing with guerilla enemy attacks on home soil,
civil justice is too soft to be applied to the special circumstance of enemy combatants and indeed, would have been inappropriate in dealing with German enemy combatants in world war2
