Recently my doctor advised to stop eating non vegetarian meals for nearly six months as i have been diagnosed for Tuberculosis (TB). I seriously seek vegan options so that I do not have to compromise on proteins. Does Any one have a collection of good vegan breakfast recipes.

Hey Rollyzar,

Sorry to hear about the diagnosis. Have you ever been on a vegan or vegetarian diet before? Are toy looking specifically for high protein breakfast recipes and is there any specifically you need to avoid. What sorts of breakfasts do you enjoy. Protein powder and I highly recommend plain pea or brown rice protein powders can be added to nearly anything to up the protein. My brown rice protein per 30 gram scoop is 26g protein, 3.9 carb and 0.1 sugar. The sugar comes only because i buy mine flavored with cocao powder. Plain a believe has no sugar.

Hi Issy.

No op to flog that book of yours, long memory here, now what was it called, oh! yes... 'Road Kill Recipes For The Connoisseur' particularly liked the forward by Tony Azzi 'How to have your Wombat and kill it to!" available at all good gunnie shops...only $99.99, with all proceeds going to The Two Bobs retirement fund at The Shooters and Hooters Party, and the Charlton Heston Memorial Pacifists Association!

I'll get in early before you razz me for the above;
Please accept my usual remorse that must be extended to you for the indiscretion.

p/s Bacon and eggs is not vegan unless you add a hash brown.

Seriously, you will find some good books down at your local Post Office sometimes knocked down for $2.

Up in India, doctors solve the problem by feeding the sufferers with dried powdered meat under the guise of their "own special preparation".

Works wonders, one GP that I know well has allegedly used 'blood and bone' fertilizer and to good effect.
