The contraceptive is GonaCon . good name. The roos are in effect dead for breeding and have 2 people shooting each one. Canberra funded research into a surfboard for women. It all wins votes and polls so is definitely worth every $.

I find it interesting that 10 'roos got a olacebo.
Does this mean that if those 'roos don't breed that the placebo effect can take place with the recipient having only the mental capacity of a ...of a.. a kangaroo? I always knew that 'roos were dumb but it seems that there are some humans that are also likely to run in front of cars. Posted by Is Mise, Saturday, 28 January 2017 2:32:43 PM

The minister does Corrective Services and Sport and Recreation which is a bit sadistic. However he is determined about Green House gas control from ACT kangaroo breath and heavy industry . As placebos double the amount of work for genocide shooters then a person of his brain believes the science.

more scary Is Mise is that people vote for these clowns. Usually in CAnberra public servants protecting their own ' privileges'.

Clowns are not very smart. "Since other people have trained Kangaroos and regard them as intelligent animals, I have to assume that the Kangaroo handlers on the show were not using suitable techniques. Perhaps they had started off with the idea that Kangaroos are untrainable.
Based on my own observation and the things I hear from wildlife carers, Marsupials generally have a similar level of intelligence to comparable placental animals. Two different people who have kept Quolls in their household have said that their intelligence is similar to that of a Cat. The limited information about the Thylacine suggest that their intelligence was comparable to a wolf, and somewhat higher than most breeds of Dog. Wombats seem to exibit very high intelligence. Marsupial intelligence is a subject that needs more investigation." Posted by nicknamenick, Sunday, 29 January 2017 9:40:02 AM

Canberra supermarkets and restaurants have a flourishing trade in roo meat, which is tasty and good for health.
http://gourmetgame.com.au/nutrition/nutritional-facts/ Where the product comes from elsewhere and the easily offended PC mob don't get their own hands dirty it is obviously different. There must be a lot of people pretending to be offended, doubtless because it gives them political and cultural power. It is unwise to have a national capital that is remote and insulated from the remainder of the country and there are umpteenth generations of public servants. Yet there are those who believe in the Big State and would give even more power to Canberra. Maybe that is good for their careers. Posted by leoj, Sunday, 29 January 2017 10:44:04 AM

See: https://www.gunworld.com.au/winchester-bushman-22lr-375gr-hp-copper-plated Buy 10 cases and it reduces down to 11.9 cents per shot. As usual the bleeding hearts, Land Rights for Left Handed Harp Seals mob gets involved and logic, reason and common sense goes out the window. More roo's on the continent than before Cooks time. Best meat ever and still we can't feed it to the masses. Cloven hoofed animals have been the worst species introduced here due to the damage to fragile/poor soils. Is Mise, as usual you want to shoot everything. This is an excellent program for the control of kangaroo numbers, money well spent. Better than the $1200 a kill it cost the NSW taxpayer tor the ridiculous trial of shooting in national parks.
A trial of shooting feral goats at Cocoparra Nature Reserve near Griffiths by four volunteer amateur hunters seen six wild brumbies in a state forest to the north shot illegally. Can't the gunnies tell the difference between a horse and a goat. then again I know who the real goats are, was NSW's leading shooter and wombat killer,Tony Azzi one of the four? . "I find it interesting that 10 'roos got a olacebo." Is Mise always telling me to get a spell checker, what is an "OLACEBO" some kind of new gun of yours? As the saying goes; People in glass houses shouldn't fire their shotgun! Posted by Paul1405, Monday, 30 January 2017 5:03:02 AM

Any mention of Toni Azzi, NSW's leading shooter and wombat killer, or the ridiculous trial of Rambo's s in national parks killing rabbits at $1200 a trrow, criminal acts, and extravagant costs to NSW taxpayers, this is always guaranteed to silence Is Mise very quickly. Will the shooters and hooters make some kind of restitution, considering the wasteful cost they impose time and again on the poor taxpayer? No way! instead they demand prime real estate off the same suffering taxpayers at a peppercorns rent, ANZAC RANGE at MALABAR.
Is Mise how is that new gun of yours THE OLACEBO, going? popped any wombats lately? It is highly recommended by the great white wombat hunter himself. Posted by Paul1405, Saturday, 4 February 2017 5:39:23 AM

Typo Paul, I hit the 'O' instead of the 'P', but then I'm used to hitting the ten ring.
How about a reference or three, Paul, from you? Here's one, possibly the one on which you base your emotional rant? http://www.smh.com.au/national/multimillionaire-car-dealer-tony-azzi-investigated-over-wombat-deaths-20151218-glqoga.html The news story was dated 20 December 2015; any developments since then? https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/i_wish_to_be_informed_when_the_i The above is all that I could find; knowing that you would never run off at the mouth, I look forward to your more up to date information. "Typo Paul", yeah, a bit like leaving the safety catch off when giving a laded automatic to 5 year old's to play with.
I would not have mentioned your "typo" if it was not for people in glass houses etc etc. if I corrected every poster who makes an error, then that's all I would be doing here. I admit, I make plenty of spelling and grammatical errors when posting, but they is no mistake when it comes to winning an argument with you my forum friend. ANOTHER VICTORY HAS BEEN ACHIEVED on the topic of "Where some peoples tax money goes" The answer; into the pockets of self interested greedy gunnie types who don't give two hoots about the other 99% of the population Posted by Paul1405, Saturday, 4 February 2017 5:13:13 PM

Hi Is Mise, the reference is the real world of reality, and me telling it like it is. How's that for a reference?

No good, Paul.
You allege that Tony Azzi illegally shot a wombat but you cannot give a reference to a conviction or even to charges being laid. So your post re him is merely another example of a Green throwing mud in the hope that it will stick. Give up, Paul, you couldn't win in a two straw draw even if you cut the straws. Is Mise, in the attached article there is a photograph of Azzi and a dead wombat with some other grub named Nick! You may feel the need to defend these people, I don't. The court of public opinion found this bloke GUILTY! It is unfortunate if you would condone the killing of wombats, even if it is by NSW's number one shooter!

Hey Paul1405,
I'm not convinced you've won any argument at all. For efficiency sake's I think Albie Manton genuinely won the argument, with his link to gun ammo at under 14 cents a shot. This is the cheapest way to solve the problem, whether you're willing to accept that or not. Your argument may not necessarily be one against shooters but one about bad government policy and spending. If any of those pollies had any kahuna's of their own they would pick up the .22 and get out there and cull the damn things themselves saving the taxpayer and benefiting the community; that's if they were actually serious about doing anything useful for the community rather than deciding how to waste the taxes of hard working citizens. Tell me just out of interest since you're counting costs at $1200 a pop; how many hours work do award wage Aussie workers need to do to pay the government $600,000 in income tax? If it wasn't for all the stupid wasteful instances of spending just like this one, this exact mentality, our nation could be a whole lot different, investing instead in the types of nation building projects that could really make a difference. Posted by Armchair Critic, Sunday, 5 February 2017 2:16:28 AM

[cont.]
Lets look at that $600,000 in income tax concept. We'll use the perspective of young Australians working at McDonalds. How much does a full time worker earn a year? Maybe $30,000? and pays maybe $5000yr in income tax; maybe? That's 120 workers working full time for a year to pay for your $600,000 program for 145 kangaroo's. Are you prepared to go to these young working adults and explain to them why these kangaroos were the reason why they each had to have their pay packets garnished of $5000 during the year, money they could've saved towards a house deposit? Will they agree with you the governments need was justified? If they don't, then this program does not pass the sniff test. It smells like total BS. The most concerning aspects regarding this issue (and others like it) is firstly that it actually happens and secondly that some people can actually find a way to support it. Paul,
Can you give a reference to the bloke being convicted of killing a wombat or of being charged with such an offence? Armchair Critic hit the nail on the head, the whole exercise is a waste of the taxpayers' money. Would this stupid waste of money have anything to do with the Greens members of the ACT Government? Differing opinions are also part of the problem "Doubts over kangaroo culling science" http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/doubts-over-kangaroo-culling-science-20160408-go1u5k.html Posted by Is Mise, Sunday, 5 February 2017 7:35:45 AM

Is Mise, seems you are hell bent on convictions, so be it. I did not want to mention that shocking animal Ian Turnbull, a Moree farmer and gunnie, who cold bloodily shot dead Glen Turner an Environmental Officer for no other reason than Mr Turner was doing his job trying to stop the actions of this disgusting environmental wrecker. Turnball received a 35 year jail sentence, where with luck he will save the taxpayer by snuffing it well before his sentence expires, now that will be a real saving.
Link just for you:http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-06-23/moree-shooting-ian-turnbull-sentenced-over-murder/7535808 AC, unfortunately here in the NSW Legislative Council we have two ratbag Shooter members who scored 2$ of the popular vote continually holding a gun to the head of the State Government making costly and outlandish demands on the public purse. Such as the absurd demand that indiscriminate shooting by the 2$ be allowed in national parks. The shooters demanded a trial be conducted, it was, and the final cost was a staggering $7259 for each animal killed. So those who claim 14 cent a shot are out of touch with reality. http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/7150-for-each-animal-killed-in-nsw-hunting-program-20140923-10kogt.html Posted by Paul1405, Sunday, 5 February 2017 8:28:10 AM

How much will your trial in the Inquisition for Pope Benedict cost ? He is devastating the world with Hillary the witch heretic and can afford top attorneys , poisoners and judicial fees. Ammo is still expensive.Traditional Returning Boomerang 35cm. Hand-painted traditional boomerang designed to return when thrown. view full description. Buy 10 for $18.95 each. At 20 roos per weapon that's 10 cents. Posted by nicknamenick, Sunday, 5 February 2017 8:43:51 AM

$US7 for 50 rounds of .22 is 20 centsAU. It needs a head shot to drop a roo , even .303 is not enough in the body usually. So the cost is well over 20 cents , nearly a cappuccino with croissant.

Hey Paul1405,
I may support shooting the Kangaroos, but I certainly do not support i'll thought out ideas which place an unfair burden on the taxpayer. What was the exact breakdown of these set-up costs and who's pockets were lined from it? I'd support $50 a roo and not a cent more. That should provide more than enough incentive. Total cost for the 145 - $7250. nicknamenick, "How much will your trial in the Inquisition for Pope Benedict cost ?" Nothing, it's not the Australian taxpayers responsibility. The globalist shill's rhetoric is concerning though... Posted by Armchair Critic, Sunday, 5 February 2017 9:31:48 AM

All 'Whitey' animal slaughter is by definition, unnecessary, inhumane and unsustainable. Let them eat cake.
In the ACT the roo meat in expensive restaurants and from supermarkets for those who wish to ape their betters (betters being the politicians and PS mandarins who flick the plastic, courtesy of the taxpayer), doesn't really come from Skippy at all. Like all produce it magically appears in trucks from who knows where and who really cares? Posted by leoj, Sunday, 5 February 2017 10:17:31 AM

Paul,
Are you obsessed with money, or perchance when you twice typed 2$ you actually meant 2%? Drawing the longbow a bit are we? You can't find or give any reference to Azzi being charged with an offence so you must resort to obfuscation; par for the Green Sickle brigade. If Azzi did illegally shoot a wombat then charges should be brought and if convicted his firearms licence should be cancelled. If the Greens are convinced that an offence was committed then they are at liberty to push for the law to be enforced; no perceived activity as yet! What's your take on some of the 'roos being given placebos? How is that supposed to work? Posted by Is Mise, Sunday, 5 February 2017 10:27:06 AM

The kangaroo court into traditional sex abuse will cost $100m with insurance costs at $500m. A trial for Pope Benedict will assuredly have Canberra's blessing and funds . There's enough damage to the planet from AGW and kangaroo explosion let alone Soros-Benedict-Hillary abuses.
Soros has both money and opinions , illegal in Australian values based on freedom of jumping to conclusions. Hillary will hang for this and Soros needs shooting or a placebo / sharp knife/ rimfire . Posted by nicknamenick, Sunday, 5 February 2017 12:00:36 PM

Is Mise the $ signs were for your benefit, obvioualy the message was just a little too sophisticated for you, so I'll keep at the Tom and Jerry level just for you.

But of course all aspiring and wannabe politicians, latte quaffers, makey-learney F35 JSF pilots and future leaders in the otherwise leaderless land of Terror Australis who reside in the ACT just eat kangaroo meat to be seen to be 'in tune' and sympathetic to the plight of our poor non reflective skinned cousins by "eating what they eat."
Please don't mention the queues of kindred cousins lining up outside the popular Scottish restaurant, the Red Chook shed and others in Katherine and Tennant Creek who cannot afford the purchase of a few rounds of .22 to supplement their meagre government rations with "proper food". God forbid we should ever challenge the right of post graduates/doctoral candidates on the endless politically sponsored gravy trains. Diligently hammering out theses by the container load, no doubt enriching every one of us in this sun drenched country all girt by sea. "Two-and-a-half years into the kangaroo fertility trial, the ACT government has spent about $600,000 to deliver a contraceptive to 135 kangaroos, and a placebo to 10 more."
http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/canberra-roo-fertility-trial-costs-612000-treats-135-kangaroos-20170123-gtwzj3.html
Makes one wonder; about $80 for suitable ammunition and the 145 'roos could have been permanently neutered.
