The unions will be gone soon enough because employers are going to have so many workers to choose from they will simply say, no work for union members at this site.

They (the unions) will have to take a back seat and wait for the next boom in our economy, and the signs are that's likely to be a very long wait.

They had the world at their feet but were never satisfied and when they have the likes of that grub who had a personal vendetta against Qantas, it was only ever a matter of time and that time has arrived.

The fact that they were incapable of keeping their noses from the trough just accelerated their demise.

Their unwillingness to adjust to the times has caused many to loose their jobs yet they continue to justify their actions by saying they will protect workers rights.

Well there's no need to protect workers rights when they have no work.

Freedom of association also means freedom not to associate with those you choose not to.

Yes Shadow Minister and in the near future that freedom will be the freedom for employers to pick and choose from a rather large bank of potential employees. It didnt have to be that way but typically, unions didnt stop pushing for more and more, this despite the declining economic situation.

Slow learners but sadly its their members who will feel the brunt of their arrogance.

The white collar crooks who have been running the Labor Party and the Unions for the last twenty years are a disgrace.
I was on the board of management of the Printing Industry Union twenty years ago and it was run by honest salt of the earth men.
Now that women have taken over and get paid for their trouble we have corrupt unions working hard for themselves.
