They (the unions) will have to take a back seat and wait for the next boom in our economy, and the signs are that's likely to be a very long wait.
They had the world at their feet but were never satisfied and when they have the likes of that grub who had a personal vendetta against Qantas, it was only ever a matter of time and that time has arrived.
The fact that they were incapable of keeping their noses from the trough just accelerated their demise.
Their unwillingness to adjust to the times has caused many to loose their jobs yet they continue to justify their actions by saying they will protect workers rights.
Well there's no need to protect workers rights when they have no work.
