For those that think that Tony is living in the past; think again. Australia was a growing and prosperous nation in the past with less welfare and National debt. Perhaps we should learn some lessons from the past.

Bazz,

"More meaningless waffle."

Funny you should mention that...have you been listening to Abbott on 7:30?

"Waffle, waffle, consultative & collegial..yada, yada, waffle....It's all Labor's fault.....yada waffle...yada..."

Fascinating, I tells ya!

It's been pointed out that if cabinet stuck to voting down a spill then two-thirds of the back-bench must have voted against the Mad Monk for a 61-39 result. Two-thirds!

What resounding confidence. I predicted his demise but there are battles and there are wars. Abbott won the battle, but for how long can cabinet unity be maintained with today's numbers? The NSW election and the budget are the next tests, with accompanying polls.

Day two of good governance. That does not say much for the last 16 months, does it. Can Abbott change or do we get more of the same.

After yesterdays spill vote which was Abbott’s choice, has now opened facts and figures to both parliament and his own party. Everybody will now want Abbott to come up with action to follow his words.

The 7.30 last night he gave 15 seconds of airtime to a family package, other than that he reiterated the past. He has promised to change his ways, is this at all possible.

Now, this is a zombie and a factional one too,

Soon later, without a tinge of conscience he dumped on "Whatever she says" Gillard, making a virtue out of his treachery again,

the former Rudd/Gillard/Rudd backers certainly know nothing of the word shame. Their abbottphobia must be driving them to the edge of insanity.
