The greatest question of all if why Australias public education system so poorly funded given our economic prosperity? As a student within the state education system in WA I have seen many of my best teachers leave or be offered higher paying jobs at the local private school which my sister attends. If more money was placed into secondary state schools rather than tax cuts or first elitest private schools we might just se a high standard of education and the ability to sustain our growth into future years.
