cryptic words

Certain words have different meanings for different
people as we can see from some of the comments on
this forum at various times. Words like "assimilation"
to "integration," and then "multiculturalism."
Then of course there's the old chestnuts like - "Left," "Right,"
"Progressives," "Watermelons," and so on. All words and
phrases that mean something more or something other than
is indicated by their surface meaning.

Its also the verbose, hypocritical, mendacious and often ambiguous
language that politicians (and their hangers-on) use.
Its fundamental method is to express everything so vaguely
and densely that these speakers can extricate themselves
from difficulties by claiming not to have said what they did
in fact say.

Deciphering the meanings of words present a challenge.

The language we speak predisposes us to make particular
interpretations of reality. The widespread use of euphemism
and jargon to conceal rather than to reveal meaning -
for example adds tell of a car that is "affordable" and
"previously owned," meaning expensive and used.
Politicians speak of the need for "revenue enhancement"
meaning a tax increase. Corporations report a
"negative contribution to profits," which means a loss.
military statements tell of "air support," which is
bombing, and "pacification," which is making war.

We have learned of an "energetic dis-assembly and rapid
oxidation" at a nuclear power plant, which turned out to
be an explosion and a fire. And the event in which
hundreds of millions of living human beings might be
annihilated is called a "nuclear exchange" as if it
involved no more than some sort of technological swap.

All these linguistic usages are calculated to, and do,
predispose us to see things in a less concerned way.
Language and culture, then are in constant inter-action:
culture influences the structure and use of language,
and language can influence cultural interpretation of
reality.

I am very worried about this..trip for Pope Francis,....The fact that he is using no hardened transportation..(no Pope-mobile for this trip) concerns me greatly...]

And if,..as reported at arutzsheva.com yesterday,
the following is true:

The Vatican's Secretary of State made a dramatic revelation ahead of Pope Francis's visit to Israel next Sunday and Monday,..declaring that the pope will talk about the "Palestinian people's right to have a homeland, sovereign and independent."

Cardinal Pietro Parolin holds a role in the Vatican City State, located in the Italian capital of Rome,..equivalent to that of a prime minister.

Speaking to Vatican television on Thursday,..he said "we know that the pope is going to a particularly suffering land,"//reports AFP. "I really hope that the fruit will be to help politicians and all people of good will take courageous decisions..on the path to peace," Parolin stated.

Why in Heaven's name would any Muslim want to assassinate him, for taking such a stand?!?

My nightmare here is that an Israeli..IDF sniper assassinates him, and this is blamed on some Islamic radical,..to create a new "Holy War" against all Muslim countries...invasion/iran/ukrane/''etc

[or/just collapse..the market..[be warned]..the clay-goyum/walking...[like a man/..humane/man.[menche*]..shalom.

<<..Jewish Extremists Threaten Pope's Visit

For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes—Matthew 7:29

[300.interesting/story..titles deleted..]

On Sunday, May 25, Pope Francis will land in Palestine for a short visit between 9AM and 4PM. Most of this time will be spent in Bethlehem. Later that day, he will be welcomed at the Ben Gurion Airport. This detail shows how serious the situation is. Flying from Bethlehem to Ben Gurion is ridiculous. If you are not careful while throwing a stone in Bethlehem, it may fall on Ben Gurion’s parking lot.

The visit in Israel will be slightly longer and more intense; the Holy See and Israel are expected to sign a permanent agreement. Following a second ceremony in Jerusalem (which borders with Bethlehem; instead of crossing the junction, he will take two flights), the Pope will end the day at the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher.

Next day, he will meet the Great Mufti of Jerusalem* at the Temple Mount, will visit the Western Wall and Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum, place flowers at Herzl's Tomb, meet the Chief Rabbis, meet the PM and the President. After the formalities are finished, he will visit a monastery, a church and then will lead a mass at the Cenacle, the peak of this short visit.

The latter is a sign that an agreement is imminent.

The Cenacle is the main source of friction between the two countries. Soft protests led by Jewish Ultra-Orthodox and Right Wing..extremists are intensifying these days,..with the police getting increasingly involved...Arrests may take place..before the visit.

King David's..Tomb
Jesus..of Nazareth: Holy Week:
From the Entrance..Into Jerusalem..To The Resurrection

Adjacent to...the Ottoman Wall,+ the tomb..is part of the Old City. Holy to Jews,..Muslims..and Christians,..it is an..*obstacle blocking the way to permanent*,,agreements...Are Israel and the Vatican attempting..to bypass..the Muslim world?..[no]

King David..was almost for certain/buried elsewhere...The tradition identifying the place..as his tomb started only in the 12th century and..contradicts Biblical evidence.

Christian history..in the site is better based...In the book Weights and Measures,..written by Epiphanius in the 4th century,..it is said "the church of God,..which was small,..where the disciples,..when they had returned after the Savior...had ascended from the Mount of Olives,..went to the upper room."

In other words,.this is the site..*of the Last Supper,
where the New Covenant.between God...and the people was established.

It is known as the Cenacle of Jesus,..and also as the Upper Room because it is located upstairs the tomb...The current Gothic structure was built by the Crusaders,..in the 12th or 13th centuries.

The original building was a synagogue..(the Hebrew word "Beit Knesset" means."House of Gathering")\,,apparently used by Jewish Christians, and was spared during the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD...Three walls of that structure still exist,..forming the north, east and south sides of the tomb.

The Ottoman Empire confiscated..the place from the Christians and placed a mosque in it....Thus,..the Catholic Church claims ownership. Most visitors are Catholic.

The establishment of diplomatic relations between the Holy See and Israel demanded to address the issue of Vatican properties in Israel. Their exact extent and value are not known, but they amount to many billions. In 1993, the countries signed a basic agreement to be followed by a permanent one.

Since the British Mandate days, religious buildings (synagogues, mosques and churches) are exempted from paying property tax (the arnona)...Israel wants structures owned by the Vatican but that are not churches to pay the tax.

The Catholic managed institutions refuse to pay, demanding first the achievement of a comprehensive agreement between Israel and the Holy See.

Such an agreement demands to settle the status of King Davis's Tomb.

OOM>> ...The international community think, you don't think?<<

Origin, when you say the international community thinks.....I doubt it.
The only ones that “think” are the bastards with vested interests in keeping the existing corrupt system of globalization rolling....along with a handful of plebs who do not believe in the unelected and undemocratic masters of globalization.....the ones that our first world mongrel politicians have allowed to strip away national sovereignty with a million UN conventions and protocols.

In alternate media such as Youtube I often find postings that paint a clear and verifiable counter to the lies and half truths that the media and politicians serve us up to us as 100% facts.....there may be 4 or 5 hundred hits of that video....

Then I find a video of a cat running away from a mouse and the hits are in the multi millions..........The dumbing down and brainwashing of the first world is complete....show me the kitty..
