There is a clear difference I feel between trying to spin a story that is built on flights of fantasy to have a dig at Labour, and taking the theme and stating facts to have a dig at the Opposition.

Anyway a Mining Tax 'bleeding away the nation's wealth'? You have got to be kidding me. Perhaps bleeding some of the obscene amounts of money spilling into the bank accounts of Clive, Gina and Twiggy and putting it to work in the Australian community.

Oops sorry, your side of politics believes taking anything from the wealthy is an anathema, after all Rupert and co were instrumental in getting your lot into power. Money goes a long way toward poisoning ethics, Saddam knew it. Rupert knows it. Clive, Gina and Twiggy know it, and your side of politics are very familiar with it.

No doubt you will offer some choice moral/value judgments as all good progressives do, but eventually you will have to tackle the economics of each and that will stick in your craw.

Just take a look at the value/moral response from OUG if you need evidence of progressive narrative nonsense. When push comes to shove the progressives are noted for heading for the emotive bunker, can you do any better?
