No doubt some will want to highlight one party not all here, Gday Tapp.
But if you are in a party's any party and go to branch meetings you may find common ground.
Sometimes so very boring and often every vote has been given the go by one section long before the meeting branches often drive all but one faction away from meetings and it is no accident.
So a party finds a candidate that in no way fits the expected mold put up by a branch that in truth is privately owned ,why not over rule that branch?
Is the wanted outcome for any party the best candidate they can find?
If you have never attended a branch meeting of any party I invite you to do so.
But be prepared to be bored, to want to jump out any window, to fall ill , to find any reason never to go back again.
I had one dreadful night that saw loverly old folk line up just before the vote to ask the person who owned my branch ,how did you want us to vote again?
How many stars of the future would sit in such a branch?
one night of torture every month?
Better to have less Branch's than such as these.
