Turnbull is not at all an asset for the Coalition but he would be an asset for Labor if the Coalition for some idiotic reason took him back as leader.
I suppose he is tolerable as a minister but to put him up as leader would be the political suicide Labor is egging the Coalition on to commit.

Houellebecq,

Shorten did not change the meaning of the word misogyny.

The Macquarie Dictionary fell in line with the definition that was changed by the Oxford Dictionary back in 2002.

Words change their meaning all the time - even the word Nazi.

Barnaby Joyce might like to think it was some sort of conspiracy.

I bet Barnaby wasn't feeling particularly gay about it and it probably even made him feel a bit queer.

In fact he probably choked on his $100 Lamb Roast when he heard it.

As for Gerard Henderson, he's just a paid mouthpiece for certain business groups.

The Sydney Institute is not some sort of "Think Tank". It has only 2 employees - Gerard and his wife.

All his instructions come from a very interesting Board of Members with specific political and economic aims.
