Timithy Geithner was the head of the NY Federal Reserve in 2008 when the Govt bailed out AIG.The gounds for a bailout was that it was broke and had to pay debts to Goldman Sachs. Timothy Geithner it is alleged, told AIG not to disclose the Default Swaps.

There were $ billions of worthless Toxic Credit Default swaps,on AIG accounts. This is like being bailed out for your gambling debts. So AIG got a bailout it seems under false pretences.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7E6XH9R6fiI In this short clip Judge Andrew Napolitano explains it well.

Arjay, where do you keep digging these tidbits from?

This is very old news. It has already been aired, discussed at great length, and put to bed.

>>Timothy Geithner it is alleged, told AIG not to disclose the Default Swaps.<<

Here are a couple of print articles, both over two years old, that discuss the issue in detail.

The YouTube clip you link to is of the same vintage, which raises the question, why would it suddenly crop up again in early 2012?

Could it perhaps be, that there is an election due in the US, and that some of your Ron-Paul-is-Great web sites have started to spread some anti-Obama muck?

Heaven forfend.

It could well be about an election pericles.Obama is not keen enough to invade Iran so thay need stronger a war mongerer like Mitt Romney with insane McCain to back it.

Sounds kinda sorta feasible, Arjay, in a conspiracy-nutty sort of way.

>>It could well be about an election pericles.Obama is not keen enough to invade Iran so thay need stronger a war mongerer like Mitt Romney with insane McCain to back it.<<

Which raises an interesting question: why are you re-publishing it here? Are you also keen to prevent Obama - and his anti-war instincts - from a second term? You would prefer that the US attacks Iran...?

You surprise me.

I think Pericles that Alan Hart answers your questions inthis article.
Obama and Netanyahu don't get along.Obama has been strongly advised by the likes of Brezezinski and the Military not to take on Iran and risk a conflict with China and Russia.

Hart goes on to say Israel's options are to watch and wait and hope the US economy crashes and Obama loses the election,or they attack Iran facilities themselves hoping than Iran will attack thus drawing the US in,or they pull on another false flag event like the US Liberty in 1966 and blame Iran, forcing the US into conflict.

It is the lesser of two evils for President. The US expansionism will not stop,Obama just wants to do it another way.If Ron Paul cannot have any influence over Romney then it may be better for us in the short term that Obama wins the election.
