You are right on this, some subjects just don't get a run at all.
I recall the debate when the 'pill' was to be introduced. It would eliminate abortions it was claimed. Well it has not. Now we have' the morning after' pill.
So where is the need for abortion? There seems to be little need except for medical reasons where contiued pregnancy may endanger the mothers life.
So we turn a blind eye to abortion and it is not the only issue.
I find FGM, on little girls, abhorrent yet no one seems interested.
All states made it illegal in 1994, which made the polys feel good, and education was introduced. Millions spent on this education and yet FGM, according to reports, is increasing. Even those that had FGM done to them, as girls, are now having their own little girls done.
The evidence is available, about FGM, from hospitals and yet not one person has been prosecuted in relation to it. I suggest it has only been from skilled medical practice that a death has not been recorded. Alternately, deaths may be attributed to another cause, such as infection.
Yes, Belly, we do turn a blind eye to abortion and other matters. The polys all do not want to know about it.
