Fox.well aware its recruiting far right extremist, as a needed requirement , to front its slander shows is wearying main stream has acted.
It always will, in its self interests. Now mid the election of the candidate to face Democrats. And that impending election, this group has chosen to use its influence in other ways. Should Republicans not win? Born again extremists will be seen on this net work, concerns about what wealth can buy should focus on what is it we want from all media. Not quite, Arjay.
>>Fox TV has now axed Judge Andrew Napolitano's program 'Freedom Watch'<< It is Fox Business Network (FBN) that has axed the show, along with two others, primarily for ignoring their remit to report on Business issues, and instead to wander into the territory that Fox News does so well. They won't be leaving Fox, apparently. "We look forward to Judge Napolitano, David and Eric continuing to make significant contributions to both Fox Business and Fox News... Asman, Bolling and Napolitano would all maintain significant presence on the network and sister net, FNC." http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/fox-business-network-primetime-melissa-francis-288679 Their crime was to sacrifice their coverage of the business world to their political views. "FBN, though it did report on business news, seemed far more interested in the Fox News routine of tearing down Obama and Democrats. It was not uncommon to turn on the channel and see David Asman or Eric Bolling covering stories not even tangentially connected to business, like conspiracies about President Obama's birth certificate." http://mediamatters.org/blog/201202100012 This may also have had something to do with the decision: "FBN's primetime ratings have been anemic, with the channel averaging only 54,000 total viewers each night, which places it in 'the bottom tier of all cable channels rated by Nielsen.'" But why would those ratings be so low, one wonders... "Andrew Napolitano used his show to promote Ron Paul's presidential bid, and Eric Bolling devoted time to explaining why The Muppets are anti-capitalism." Yep. Those durned Muppets. They'll sink you every time. Posted by Pericles, Monday, 13 February 2012 9:22:57 AM

Arjay,
I do recall one memorable segment that I happened to catch - before Fox News jettisoned the adorable Glenn Beck. He had called on the good Judge to extend his views to the audience about Julian Assange and Wikileaks. Beck, of course, was frothing at the mouth over the threat to America by Assange. Napolitano, however, failed to back Beck's views in any shape or form and gave a hard-hitting testimony to the benefits of the very things that Wikileaks stood for. Beck was left muttering his way to the end of the segment...was quite a hoot. Posted by Poirot, Monday, 13 February 2012 9:38:10 AM

Let's hope Pericles that Fox does not water down any new appearances Napolitano makes.I have not heard of any offers made by Fox to him.
Belly,Napolitano a right wing extremist? What do you call that war mongering Obama who has trashed the people's Constitution ? Posted by Arjay, Monday, 13 February 2012 4:20:07 PM

I'm not sure the words "water down" appear in the Fox lexicon, Arjay.
>>Let's hope Pericles that Fox does not water down any new appearances Napolitano makes.I have not heard of any offers made by Fox to him.<< As to the offers, it would appear that this is the present position, as stated by network Executive Vice President Kevin Magee: "We look forward to Judge Napolitano, David and Eric continuing to make significant contributions to both Fox Business and Fox News. In addition to daily branded segments, each of them will be showcased throughout future programming on both networks." So the American people will still be entertained by all three, for the forseeable future. Only not quite so much any longer on the Fox Business channel. Lucky them. I don't think that Napolitano is the type of person to be dictated by a program agenda. One has to wonder why Murdoch and Son were dragged before a hearing on phone tapping when it was widespread and common knowledge throughout the industry that this was common practise.
Murdoch may have been running against the grain on the 'Grand Chessboard' He may have hosted too many contraversial issues which has annoyed the elites. Posted by Arjay, Tuesday, 14 February 2012 9:49:50 PM

Judge Napolitano was an avid supporter of Ron Paul and the original US Constitution which has been now trashed by Bush and Obama.
Fox was the only mainstream TV network to air such a show, that held the fire of truth to the belly of Corporate greed and power. To their credit,Fox did make a token effort at revealing the truth. Now it seems, even they cannot swim against the tide.
Here is a snipett of Napolitano's shows.
