I'm no friend of Obama,he has continued to destroy the US constitution in the George Bush Tradition with presidential orders for 'Preventative Dentention', 'National Defence Autherisation Act' and even legalising assassination by the CIA on suspected terrorists.

Some may view it as poetic justice for him (ie Obama),but when does the rule of law come into play so we all have some semblence civilisation based on the Magna Carta?

Simple answer to the question of when the law comes into play, it's always in play.
In a decent society, people obey the law.
If enough people think a law is bad, then in a democracy they can campaign to have the law changed, or vote for a politician who would change the law.
To suggest, in a democracy, that a leader might be assassinated to achieve policy change is abhorrent. It strikes at the heart of democracy, because the assassin is trying to achieve something that he or she could not achieve at the ballot box.
A huge number of Americans, and people around the world, happen to agree with Obama's cautious approach to going to war. And with good reason.
I served in the Australian military for twenty years and in my opinion, sending your national representatives, i.e. your soldiers wearing your nation's uniform, to kill people on your nation's behalf, i.e. war, should be the very last resort when everything - every thing - else has failed.
We're not there yet with Iran.
But I think there may be a case for this journalist to face prosecution. Freedom of speech is not freedom to incite others to commit heinous crimes.
