I reckon renewable energy is going to make a huge climate change, especially in Canberra.

Over the next couple of years the public are going to wake up to the pup they've been sold, & those who have hitched their wagon to global warming, & alternative energy, are going to be looking for a new line of work.

I suppose most of them will get into the academic scene, unless we have enough sense to give that a big shake along with the pollies, as many of them have been in on the con all the way.

Can I ask what source of renewable energy will turn huge amounts of Iron ore into steel? Do we give China, Japan and India our Coal to produce the world needs of steel and place all the pollution in overpopulated countries?

This climate change thingo reminds of a Doctor who really got onto the nerves of everyone in a small hospital some years ago.
This old buddy at 78 was admitted with a flu & he told us that it was time to move on anyway.
The smart Doctor gave him a talk about the risks of smoking & he really should stop.
The old bloke just looked at the young Dr & just shook his head & mumbled something not very complimentary re the Doctors intelligence.
Climate change brought many such Doctors out into the open.

Reader Popular Front confirms - the power station that features in the background of Gillard’s tax advertisement is actually in Britain and actually closed already:
You’re right - it IS Battersea Power Station (now just a shell

They have shown the old Battersea power station in England because of the “Australian Cringe “.
Our coal fired power stations are not old and evil enough. So this ad claims falsely Gillard’s tax will clean the skies from soot which the ad falsely shows belching from a British station which the ad falsely claims is pumping out pollution today.
Could it get any more deceitful?

Meantime we have a volcano in South America spewing out more carbon than the whole of mankind can create in the next 100 years.

I suspect that all the agnst around climate change is being amplified
by the scientific ground shifting under the feet of the people on both
sides of the argument.

It is now becoming respectable to be a skeptic and the denial
accusations seem to be fading away. I think those welded onto AGW are
feeling the shift and are becoming uneasy about it and so are becoming
somewhat more vociferous.

I note that the greens are wanting to have "approved" people working
in the media. Hmmm.
