Yes....a nice little mixed bag of thoughts there:) and you can always tell when a point being made:) Well thanks to all, and yes the world is changing, but into what? You all know I have an angle in all that's balanced, fair, and equal rights to all living things.
You can think of me anyway you like:) but you cant beat the truth.......and this is what the people are crying out for. There are people in your community that will take your last cent, rob you of your rights and steal more than they deserve. I wonder who they are:) Thats right! The FCC:) or maybe not:) Like I say, its your world. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NDPT0Ph5rA Play songs that make you feel alive..... Thanks. Quantumleap "Shockadelic I hope your suggesting Iam singling out Black people? Its more to find out why white and black people who's a supporter of those that produce negative angry hate music and why."
Quantumleap, I didn't make any suggestion about you. Nor did I know the discussion was limited to violence, race and religion. I think you'll find most people listening to gangsta rap are white. It's a fantasy, like Blaxploitation movies were. Yes, there's a real ghetto, but most of the kids listening and watching don't live there. Angry music can be cathartic. But if that's *all* you listen you, I'd be a little worried. I used to listen to industrial music a lot. Fave genre circa 1992. Now only occasionally do I get into a Nine Inch Nails mood. Kids are learning to deal with archetypal psychic forces. One of those elements is the Outlaw/Rebel. It appeals to many because it's role is to stand apart and master one's destiny. Standing apart, from parents and rival peers (especially for males), is essential, so there'll always be youth into Outlaw stuff, and people who sell it to them. The all-time question for me is, does religion hold us all mentally together?
I think I'll just go back to playing some ABBA:)
