Heard our Julia saying that we'll be in for a tough budget. Has anyone heard by how much our high end Public Servants will need to tighten their belts ? She says we need to get back into surplus. What is her plan B if there are more natural/man-made disasters before then ? Why are we actually in debt ? I thought little John's gang left plenty in the till when Kevin took the reins & pulled them hard to port.

you must recall that juliar lives in a quantum uni=verse
[she thinks she is the re incantation of maggrot thwatcher]
the carbon tax is like her poll ax tax

when she says it's a tough budget
she means for those she despises

just as maggrot loved to hate workers
juliar has those she loves as well as those she loves hating
[like smokers better watch it][and deneyiers better watch out]

its them what will not get the bailouts
its not them..who will pay

them who shall cop base charges
instead of big user pays

you must get it through your head
she really thinks she is the new..[neo]..thratcher in town

the boys own..new red dress in town..

[dont worry she will be bought down by her own ego..in time]
but for now she has some serfs
needing new burdens

the poor will rue the day she sacked her pm,
she is the product of the faceless men..
[the only one's she serves]

poor will do..wayney
a real girls boy

and then we got ol toney
who is so in love with her beer bottum
he has to thrust at the podium every time they share the stage

simple thing is its only going to be tough
on those ..who are allready doing it tough

those getting the free lunch..top ups and bailouts
will have plenty more free ..to lunch off

tough only on those allready doing it tough

Come now. Comparisons to Thatcher are a bit unfair. Thatcher actually stood for something, and made that 'something' clear to her constituents. She also made tough decisions and followed through with her commitments. I certainly wouldn't have liked to have lived in Thatcher's Britain, but she WAS elected to three terms as PM. I doubt Ms Gillard will enjoy the same success.

I think that Labor has become a self cannibalism outfit. It'll be for the good of the Nation. I wonder which outfit will take over it's previous role of alternative Government, the Greens ?

lets recall
govt can create its own money

INTREST FREE...!

NO NEED FOR ANY TAXES
[let alone NEW taxes]

govts lending money..
to bailout..those they borrow it from
is clearly a scam..

[but why cant others see it]

here we have globally..govt...
forced by ww1
into issuing EXTRA money..via war-bonds[at interst]
than they had..inhand..in gold/silver/copper coin

bankers bought up the bonds
then demanded their payment..*[in full] in coin

of course govt didnt have the coin
[gold silver or copper]

so the bankers
...made govt declare bankruptcy*

...forced govt..to give control of
the federal reserve/treasury and the worlds mints
over to the bankers..[12 bankers]

the story is revealed in
'the creature from jeckle island'

bankers then issued
fiat[by deecree]..bank[bills]..[debitors/money

[paper 'bank'-bills]..controlled and issued
by the 12 banker's controling
the federal/reserve
[ie govt]..BANKRUPTCY*

in time..the gold bankers controled was stolen
[de monetised]by the bankers

next they stole silver..
[many will recall pounds
worth their weight* in shillings

and penny=weights
even dollar=weights]

many will also recall
the words on early bank notes
saying this note can be redemed at the commonwealthbank

*for one pound 'sterling'[silver]coin

[the silver was lost to the people
at decimalisation..when we gave up silver predeceimal coins

[now valued at 2 dollars..*a shilling]
ie the value..of its [sterling]..silver

for a nice new shinny decimal/ten cent NICKLE piece
that via inflation of nickle
and deflation of real value
...now contain's
near ten cents of nickle/value

yet still costing more..than a nice BANK-note
costing 7 cents each..to print[regardless of face value]

and soon
the only way to pay debt..shall be in credit
[issued and held by bankers..at the push of a button]

recall a one cent copper coin
it has 5 cents worth of copper in it

thus the bakers stole it all..
banking monetory education science systems

and next they shall steal our nickle

but

as a matter of..*HRH's honour*..
[after all her face is on the coin
ASSURING US..OF ITS TRUE WEIGHT's AND TRUE VALUE's]

..any nickle coin*
..should have*
equal value
to the origonal/coin..*in silver

[as constituted*..decreed/in our constitution]
decreed=*[fiat]

I think someone has been dreaming and listening to a bit of white washing. If John Howard's government had left the country so well off, then how does it come that the governments under Howard and Peter Costello drove the country into a recession, That does not happen when there is plenty in kitty. As far as Thatcher goes, she only considered the rich, and had no time for the workers, and the Liberal and Labor parties are following her system here, nothing for the workers, and everything for the millionaires.

merv09,
Howard's mob got us out of the Keating recession. What the Kev07, Julia & Swan crowd are presently working on will put that recession in the shade by comparison. Don't for one moment believe they're capable of pulling off what it requires to get back in the black. They're a bunch of ex lawyers with no understanding of social responsibility. Give it 18 months & you'll see a re-run of 1975. Same plot different actors.

Why are 'the rich' and 'the workers' so often placed in binary opposition? Believe it or not, there are some millionaires and even multi-millionaires who have slogged their guts out and continue to slog their guts out despite their prosperity. I find the dichotomy a little offensive.

Otokonoko,
I never had nor will I ever have so much money to understand what it's like to make a lot. Your last post hits the nail on the head. I have a friend who at 76 still works pretty hard & as far as I am concerned he deserves every cent. Another friend had a workshop & had to give up because it wore him out physically & mentally to compete with a Government subsidised workshop. Many Public Servants do not morally deserve the handsome pay they're getting in return for causing misery to others who do work.
For some strange reason Labor is the strongest supporter for handsome reward for no effort & fleece the workers. The original Labor was exactly the other way round.
