The Greens are absolutely wonderful, I couldn't have come up with a better idea in a life time of thinking.

What better way to bring the gears of industry to a grinding halt than this lot?

They are the WMD capable of finally destroying the plutocrats that have been screwing us for the past 200 years.

It's imperative we all vote GREEN to end this government regulated slave scam we call a democracy. The system needs a reboot and this lot are the ultimate kill switch, they are the mother of Anarchy.

Vote Green and bring it on!

Well if you must have something to read to understand what I'm on about, then this should suffice.

http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/andrewbolt/index.php/heraldsun/comments/column_the_greens_are_eating_labor_alive/

Greens are tipped to get 19% of Victorians vote in the upcoming elections. The 19% are mostly made up of disgruntled labour voters.

They have not shown their policies yet, but people are going to vote for them in any case.

One thing they have said is they are going to shut down Hazlewood power station. That's a quarter of our power and nothing to replace it.

When our gas works blew up a few years back it was almost Anarchy in the super markets, this shut down will be ten times worse!

It's a brilliant plan to bring both our old powers to their knees and it's working :)

Nearly 30% of voters between 18 andd 24 are green voters. Under 6% of voters over 55 are green voters.

So it could be said that those who do not have a clue vote green, while those with experience vote other. That says it all.

Australia's most prosperous years are coming to an end as social welfare overtakes our own wealth production. Prepare to move out of town so life will survive by looking after oneself. I've been around for 70 of those years and seen its rise and fall. We will be a third world country in 50 years.

Hey Bugsy that is absolutely the most valid reason I could think of to vote for Bob. When I was in Vietnam one of the guys girlfriends sent over a heap of "save Lake Pedder" T shirts which we wore around the place. You could say I was surrounded by green, supporting the greens and wearing greens...hahaha....sorry.

Philo you have a few years on me but I saw most of the years you did. We can never return to the past but when living through it I could never have imagined (even with the acid that we indulged occasionally) that thirty odd years down the track we would have no manufacturing base and have become a net importer of food. You prognostication of fifty years is a bit off, we are screwed now, but credit and spin numbs the realization.

A system of government, be it a Republic or a Democracy, must be a government, of the people, for the people and by the people and not simply imposed on the people by persons with other agendas, as is now happening. To be otherwise is a DICTATORSHIP. Politicians are elected by the people in their constituents to act for and serve them, in most cases they fail the people who vote for them by not doing the job the people elected them to do, instead they adhere to party policies. Our governments, both Federal & State have been eroding our rights to freedom and selling our country to foreign investors. We, the people, once owned our utilities (Electricity, Gas, Water) and our Railways, Trams Government buses etc. Our governments sold them all, not to Australian companies, but to foreign investors. Since then prices continually have increased, taxes have increased, but wages have not increased in line with the other increases. We now reside under a GOVERNMENT CORPORATE DICTATORSHIP. Yes our government is a registered company on the U.S.A. stock exchange. Each and everyone of us in Australia have had a fictitious corporate STRAWMAN entity forced upon us by our governments, regardless of what party they belong to, this enables them to use U.C.C. (uniform commercial code) maritime statute law against us the people. They do this by our birth certificates. CONTINUED IN NEXT COMMENT

Although we the people have a Constitution, which was enacted in 1901, and still is valid today, the government has since introduced a new constitution THE AUSTRALIA ACT which gives them, the CORPORATE GOVERNMENT, and not our the peoples government, total power over the people to remove any of our rights and freedoms as they wish. Regardless of whether many of us realise, we have been enslaved. They continualy create new laws, one being against the bikers and removing their right to associate, they use spin via the media alleging all motorcyclsts who belong to a group are in a criminal cartel, yes there are some bad eggs amongst them but there are some bad eggs in any group even a mothers club. Do we label every group a criminal cartel for allowing a few bad eggs to join them? if so many of our sports teams would be committing a crime under this new law. If we allow the government to inforce this law we all risk losing our democratic rights. Next we might be charged for debating or having an opinion on anything contraversial to the government, politicians, corporations, government agencies etc. on this forum and opinion sites. Regarding the Greens I'm not sure or convinced as yet if they are the answer. What I need to know first is what the financial cost in taxation and fees the people who are the consumers will be burdoned with. It's easy to say the cost will be absorbed by the corporations who create and use the electricity to run their daily business. Common sense tells me that any costs absorbed by corporations will only create price rises to their products which we the people will have to pay for in the end.
We do not have democracy but are now subjected to a dictatorship

No Bugsy...you would vote "Green" because you or your relations stand to make money out of it :) (?)

Just like (as I've been HARPING on for ages) GORE, STRONG, ZOI and mannnnny many others on the left (so called 'helping da poor')ooooh yeah..RIGHT! Helping themSELVES more like it.

I've already shown the GORE/CCX connection... the GORE/ECX connection...now Chris Coons of Delaware...(democrat) married to Gore's DAUGHTER and into the company 'GORE-TEX' which makes green products and in any case he is connected to the gazillions of money GORE hopes to make through cap and TRADE.....mmmmmm.. of course there's NO connection whatsoever between COONS promotion of Cap and Trade and his father in laws financial interests......

http://freedomist.com/2010/10/14/how-chris-coons-will-make-millions-on-cap-and-trade-from-father-in-laws-gore-tex-company-new-castle-delaware-news/

Well..not while frogs stop jumping and fish stop swimming eh.

GREENS=SOCIALISTS(Capitalist Elite) fooling the gullible into thinking they are 'serving a greater environmental cause' by voting for them...

Now Bugsy..your not gullible are you ?

*Disclaimer: I have no financial stake in the Gore-Tex company and am not related to Al Gore, Maurice Strong or any other subject of conspiracy theories, apart from the fact that my grandfather was a Freemason.

Dear Philo,
Sounds a bit like Mao's great leap forward or Pol Pots Cambodian holocaust. All great socialist brain child's. What about by i990 no Australian child will live in poverty, the banana republic , the smart state. Me thinks you should engage the brain before putting the tongue into gear for there is power in words. The tongue is one of the smallest members in the body but it is the rudder that steers the ship. Athiests always confound me as they do not believe in the supernatural but see it as completely natural as one species becoming another with the passing of much time, planting bean seed but producing pumpkins. As I gaze into the mirror with the passing of time all I see is getting old not a new species. Random chance is gambling with the future, much better intelligent design.
