bjgupta: Thanks for offering your work.

I like many of your ideas.

I suggest that you get someone to edit it - syntax needs a little attention.

I suggest too that each section be expanded. I'd like to understand how you arrived at your opinions and it would add extra interest to the work.

The quotes are a nice touch but some would be more meaningful and make a more interesting contrast if the sections were longer.

I like your range of topics.

thanks again for sharing it,

pynch

"We should realize our folly and liberate women"

B. J. Gupta would you agree a third of seats in parliament dedicated to women is a step towards enabling a women's legislature enacting law in agreement with a men's legislature.

Yes, Whisker. By all means we should strive to ensure
that they remain in no way less priviledged than men.

thanks B.J. Gupka.

one comment:

"In early stages of civilization we started keeping women behind walls and veils to protect
them against yet uncivilized world. "

my daughter is constantly reminding me not to include her when i make sweeping "we"
statements about what men have done and haven't done.

perhaps it was "men" who started keeping women behind walls and veils.

as to the actual mechanics of the rise of patriarchy, i hope to live long enough to posit a
reasonable explanation!

nowadays first Australians are considered to have a tradition of civilisation comprising
equality between women and men extending back tens of millennia before patriarchy which
has not been "forgotten", such that patriarchy may well be a latter stage anomaly from
which the world is in recovery.

Whistler,

Are you and me not part of humanity, which kept women behind walls and veils?
