I never thought the polls could go on forever that high, did you?
Garrett remember first put his foot in his mouth a long while ago, he should never have got a seat. Yes still think he got it about right Rudd that is, the party, public servants contractors got it wrong but the fall will fix a lot. rechtub you understand do you? current poling gives a clear victory to Rudd. And Tony Abbott has something up his sleeve that will help the ALP. His Tongue, only a matter of time before he lets it unroll and watch this space. my predictions, well maybe we are still going to get an election of both houses. Fielding now the puppet of Liberalism will not go without one. Greens are not going to get it as easy as they have and Abbott, maybe reunited with Costello? Belly,
I think the point of the article was that current polling no longer gives a clear victory to Rudd, even with preferences. http://uk.reuters.com/article/idUKSGE61R00E20100228 As I predicted, the coalition's pit bull Abbott has taken a leaf out of Rudd's demolition of Howard in 2007, and instead of making the mistake that Turnbull did of comparing policy differences, is simply taking a hatchet to each and every Labor policy. The electorate's confidence in labor to run the country is eroding, and unless labor scores a victory or two, things can only get worse. Posted by Shadow Minister, Monday, 1 March 2010 3:08:14 PM

Thanks for going into print shadow minister.
I remain as I have been an increased majority for Rudd and beginning of the end for Abbott as my election result. Posted by Belly, Monday, 1 March 2010 4:24:02 PM

The true test of Rudds confidence will be in whether or not he uses one of the DD election triggers he has up his sleve.
Of cause I think he will wriggle his way out of this as he is already using the old 'the people expect us to see out the full term' crap. He is S*#* scared and his faitfull Anna Lie is about to have a mutiny on her hands as she is still hell bent on selling anything that is not bolted down and the people, many of which are fed labor voters, hate her for it. Now if Costello does come back, Rudd will literally S**# bricks! The best Krudd can do right now is sit on his hands and go into damage control and hope the voters have short memories. Rechtub we will have a DD election,Abbott knows it Rudd knows it and if you understood politics you would know Rudd is waiting.
He needs to wait and go at the right time. Or face a shorter term in his next government wait and watch Posted by Belly, Tuesday, 2 March 2010 4:58:57 PM

Let's be clear here. All our polys may play up to the marginals at times, but surely its a fair bet that many Australians are more moved by blatant incompetence than the colour and movement antics of the everyday.
2 wheels are looking somewhat spokeless. -Conservation is linked to an essoteric and expensive ETS that has no wheels, but costs the earth and needs a big bureau to run it. - Education: Gillard is trying to run a education revolution that doesn't have teacher support; with parents voting with their feet. How many more wheels can the wagon lose-before it stops moving altogether? Posted by Hanrahan, Wednesday, 3 March 2010 12:56:03 PM

So, is Abbott making ground, or is Rudd simply loosing ground?
Interesting to note how Krudd has all of a sudden turned the old 'it's all my fault' tap on. Almost as if he realises he has let the faithfull down.
I wonder if the voters who thought he was god, will fall for this?
