The article by Dowd referred to the fact that Judge Sotomayer was asked the type of questions that a white male would not be asked. This has been translated into a coalition of feminists and ethnic minorities telling white males what to do.

It is not a discussion of Dowd's article which concerned the bigotry of some of Sotomayer's questioners.

I'm becoming increasingly concerned that I'm missing something here. Maybe it's because I'm a white man. Maybe not.
