Hi.. Thanks to all who are replying to my post..
Im a bit confused now.. I was sure it was a Centelink page I found the information re ealy Pension before.. but man I have been through their site with a fine tooth comb and cant find it again. Intereting to note USA/ Canada/ Korea and many other countries have an early eligibility at a reduced rate.. not hard to find info on that.. I guess i could have been looking at info relating to that on Centrelink site.. I havent figured out if they will pay that pension to forign nationals under reciprocal agreements..?? Thank again. and if someone hits the Jackpot I will be real happy.. Gary Posted by gazinbali, Saturday, 25 April 2009 7:34:48 PM

The flow on goes from here: Chapter 4—International agreements and portability Part 4.2—Overseas portability Division 1—Preliminary 1211 Social Security (International Agreements) Act overrides Part If the Social Security (International Agreements) Act 1999 applies to the payment of a social security payment to a person, this Part does not apply to the payment to the person. .. COMLAW seems to be down so the following may not be the most current version of the relavent Act: http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/cth/consol_act/ssaa1999422/ You may want to have a close look at: SOCIAL SECURITY (INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS) ACT 1999 ... PART 4--REGULATIONS 25. Regulations SCHEDULE 1 United Kingdom SCHEDULE 2 Italy SCHEDULE 3 New Zealand SCHEDULE 4 Canada SCHEDULE 5 Spain SCHEDULE 6 Malta SCHEDULE 7 Netherlands SCHEDULE 8 Ireland SCHEDULE 9 Portugal SCHEDULE 10 Austria SCHEDULE 11 Cyprus SCHEDULE 12 Denmark SCHEDULE 13 United States of America SCHEDULE 14 Germany SCHEDULE 15 Chile SCHEDULE 16 Croatia SCHEDULE 17 Slovenia SCHEDULE 18 Belgium SCHEDULE 19 Norway SCHEDULE 20 Switzerland SCHEDULE 21 Republic of Korea SCHEDULE 22 Hellenic Republic There is a lot of info here mate. At least one of the recipricol agreements that I had a look at turns on Australian eligibility in the 1st instance so you run into the "pension age" barrier and some may spin out to criteria embedded in the legal systems of other countries. So, at that point I take my leave. Best of Luck. Posted by DreamOn, Monday, 27 April 2009 9:37:12 AM
