Why is it that Australia must always deliberately step backwards while the world goes forward?

Here we are in Australia, a nation who is over a decade behind in modern technology and Rudd wants us to pay for expensive broadband infrastructure that will still keep us way behind the world. In Europe, they have begun laying now powerlines so that their people can just plug their modem line straight into a powersocket which gives them a fully working internet service which is 10 times faster than their current broadband which, by the way, is already way faster than Australia's turtle internet.

Then, we go and slow down the service more by enforcing internet censorship where most sites to be blocked will be legal sites. Not illegal sites such as pedophilia but legal sites such as political sites who simply disagree with Chairman Rudd. And what do Aussies do? They celebrate this rush to Communism.

I tell you, the mentality of Australians has me wanting to move and disowning this nation of growing retards.
