assassination in Mongolia

I’m a Mongolian student. I want to ask you something about violence in my country.
1st of July was parliament member election in my country. The result of the election, was won by the ruling communist Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party. But the demos disagreed. They said that the elections were carried out unfairly. So the rioting began earlier on Tuesday. Actually as for the accusations of vote rigging, such thing always happens in Mongolia. Complaints are lodged after every election.

So the incident started in the early afternoon several thousand protesters associated with the opposition Democratic Party clashed with police in capital city.
Riots continued until midnight in the centre square of capital city. Soldiers and armored vehicles guarded Mongolia's capital. And then five people were killed and Over 300 people were injured because of this violence. Hundreds of people were arrested. But the most important thing is police shoot into unarmed crowds without attention. Nobody had weapon there. People heard so many gunshots of police. I think police violate the law. Five people shot by police and died. In my opinion the government violated constitution.
Mongolians all don’t have experience of such things, we are democratic country.
So the quiz is:
1. Is it crime, to police shoot into unarmed crowds without attention?
2. Who has to carry responsibility of this assassination

Looks like another example of Beijing not getting its way and sending in the troops against demonstrators for freedom.
China is expanding all through her region and according to China... she needs to be obeyed.
We need to be aware of China. Boycott her products (just dont buy them)...boycott the Olympics.
She builds her armies for a move beyond her borders. The Christians know this because the worlds final great army is an asian confederacy army called the kings of the east (research it).
Australia needs to build her military using the citizens...for surely one day we will have to stand alone.
The world is going to change in the years ahead and I believe the USA is going to become redundant as a world power .
If we dont build for the invasion of asia and South East Asia/Australasia...we will one day be over-run.
Visions and prophecies to the christian churches since the mid-1970's tell a story of an enemy in the region and enemy soldiers on Australian soil....and it looks like God Will Allow it if national Christian revival fails.
He Wants the people back in personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
May the Lord have mercy on Mongolia and bring the Chinese interferers to justice.

Ternota, your people are still struggling to gain what people in Australia take for granted.

My suggestion to you would be to start emailing and phoning Australian news providers. Like SBS, ABC and channel Nine. Ask them why this is not reported on. Ask why is there no current affairs programme interested in what happens in Mongolia.

It is with widespread publicity that pressure is put on governments to tone down their oppression of dissent.

Next encourage your compatriots to study overseas in countries like Australia and then return to start change from within. It is with an increasingly educated people that things change.

I wish you and your people strength and courage in their struggle for freedom. There are still so many countries in similar situations like yours.

That was good advice but do not give up your life or freedom without thinking.
If you do become an activist and I would if I was you I would not freely say who I was.
Tell your story in any way you can to who ever will listen ask each to write to your country's leaders demanding better.
Do not pay too much attention to Gibo, he is of little help in such a battle
best regards and wishes
I will try to have your story highlighted on a union site

According to *current* western laws and viewpoints, you were seditious and threatening the security of the state. There were terrorists amongst the crowd that were holding weapons and the police had to take action against them. Unfortunately they accidentally shot innocent bystanders, but police are legally immune from prosecution for such crimes when there is a security threat. They may have issued a press release saying they are "regretful" for any distress caused. If you were rioting here in Australia, you would be imprisoned, beaten perhaps shot. Good luck with your 'Democracy'. Hope it turns out better for you.

"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." - Benjamin Franklin
