The Budget

Well the budget is out but what will be the outcome.

Pensioners forgotten and still struggling to survive.

About 65,000 jobs to go and the impact of that is houses lost, people and families living on the street as the state labor has forgotten how to ensure public housing is available.

For instance in Newcastle housing units are to be ripped down within five years and the people in them, where are they to go.

The battlers, well we have families working 2 jobs to survive, and in many cases they earn more than 150,000 a year combined, so the battlers again are shafted.

So labor is not complaining about 17% interest rates that they left with the recession we had to have but how will they manage.

The education revolution scam is just that, with computers that may not go out as funding from the states is required, as I had said before.

So what do we have?

Really a pack off upperclass, rich pollies telling us it’s all good.

The most significant thing about the budget is the indication from Swan and Rudd of just how utterly hopelessly we are hooked into rapid continuous human expansion. There isn’t even a passing thought for bringing an end to this type of growth or of attempt to balance the overall pressure exerted by humanity with the ability of this continent to take the pounding.

Of course, silly old Turnbull and Nelson don’t have the slightest bit of criticism about this lack of insight.

And neither do any other supposed experts or media commentators. Not a one!

You are dead right but this goes further.

We can go enviromental impacts

food

water
housing

hey the people get what they voted for.

Hansen had the veiw for immigration that when one leaves one can come in , well i am harsher than that and it is a complete halt on immigration.

How many people are willing to give their water and food up for immigration.
how about handing over half their homes.

But not to worry as now the unions are talking pay increases which will have the effect off more jobs going and business closing.

Labor is creating a country that imports their goods and we all will be in poverty.

As rudd has also said that pensioners and those unemployed have been forgotton.

You can also see by the postings how the truth runs hard with labor and union supporters.

As i was talking to someone this morning they told me how someone said to them about the power sell off and they informed them that they knew and what was going on, was exactly what i had told them.

So when it comes to truth right here

if you want spin then the parties and unions.

I will keep fighting for the people and not just run away when it gets to truthful.

The best thing about the budget is I won't be blackmailed by the government anymore into paying into the scam that is private health insurance.

Just how is the private health system viable anyway. The government pays 30% of insurance, the insurance you take out still leaves you mightily out of pocket, and you are until now penalised by the tax system for not taking out insurance. Talk about a free leg up. It's a license to print money.

Having heard the main parties positions it is interesting to note a few points
Im sick of hearing the extra money [revenue] is comming from minning

one has only to look at the price of petrol and know that as the price increases so so the govt tax dollars roll in [to say we got an extra 3 billion [from mining revenue] is bull, so i favour brendons 5 cents cut to feul excise.

As for the rest the question needs to be asked why they [libs] didnt do that when they were in power [the opposition exposes its neo con red neck side with saying the increase of alcopops will push people TO drugs [forgetting your flawed 'gateway ' theory there brendon?]
how about both parties taxing wine ?

Get real on drugs dude [the main drug getting people busted is a plant , and the biggest killer is booze ,and smoking followed by adverse reaction to perscribed [and govt subsidised ] LEGAL drugs ,

marijuana has never killed anyone ,the other illegals [representing 3 percent of all busts killed less than 100 [yet total drug deaths tops 20,000 per year ie the legal [lobby owned drug pushers]

[In usa alone legal perscribed drugs kill the equivelent of 3 JUMBO JETS WORTH OF PEOPLE PER DAY ,so get real booze kills 4000 per year in australia alone ,but alcopops arnt to blame ,polititions keeping the non lethal plant illegal and this war on drug users is .

But moveon , brendons popularist policy in opposition is the soft sell it [liberals] didnt have in govt ,
sure labour has sold us all out by not cutting the fuel excise ,but this policy of taxing high income earners for privatised proffits of 'health'' insurors is pure liberal spin ,directly cancelling out the other good stuff ,it came up with [in opposition]
.
but thats what we get for voting for the two party big buisness lobbied farce, [govt we deserve]

Ludwig “The most significant thing about the budget is the indication from Swan and Rudd of just how utterly hopelessly we are hooked into rapid continuous human expansion.”

Agree Ludwig. However, there is a light ahead (on the front of the train running out of control toward us, as we stand still like rabbits, mesmerized by its brightness).

A recession is looming. After a 12 year bull market, a recession is inevitable but the socialists are teeing us up nicely to exasperate instead of ameliorate it.

That recession will turn the “growth” around, plenty of folk to fill fewer jobs then.

In fact, more folk than jobs. Corporate losses, smaller and fewer pay-packets means a reduced tax take and high welfare payments and grandiose schemes to create jobs on fatuous nationalised infrastructure schemes.

Taht will take us all right back into socialist deficit budget mode, where they are more comfortable operating and the benefits of the last decade of conservative fiscal prudence will be lost for another generation.

Further increases in taxes when there is a budget surplus is criminal.

Whilst people may spend as they see fit on whatever takes their fancy, possibly based on their ability to leverage against assets, is up to them. It has an upper limit which no lender will exceed. Some will fail and loose the lot, the payback for greed and inadequate investment analysis but many will give due consideration to the risks and manage to improve their circumstances by their own planning. The government are using taxes to curtail this individual discretion. The government are saying to every individual, we do not trust you to spend your resources on what you choose, we will save you from yourself by running your domestic budget for you.

But to your pont Ludwig, hopefully with a recession, sufficient people will be responsible enough to not have that third kid and thereby curtail population growth and possibly the socialists will retain the appropriate stand on border and migration security.
