*Only bringing about populations of educated, earning women with full rights under the law will lower the birthrate*

Well you could offer those hundreds of millions in the third world,
who don't have family planning etc, some rights by giving them
easy family planning. The Catholic Church will fight you all the
way of course, but its time that even they were held accountable
for their actions. Forcing third world women to have kids that they
don't want, is patently ridiculous in today's world.

This post was not intended as a serious scientific expose on climate change, just looking at other possibilities and having a subtle jibe at the Global warming faithful. It may well be that la nina is only a brief respite from general heating trends, but the exaggerated claims of the AGW zealots need to be put into perspective.

Chapman did not say that or even hint at an ice age of mammoth proportions,he was talking about a minor one like 1750 which there were serious impacts on agriculture. We cannot accurately predict the local weather. What chance have we of making predictions of the complex interactions within our whole bio-sphere and beyond?

Infertile credits were just intended as a parody, but rewarding people in poor countries to have fewer children does have merit.Just 2 children can satisfy our maternal desires, why do we have a need for a dozen?

9 billion people by 2050 will make the world very unstable and even more likely that some nutter will push the button.I probably won't be around to see mid century, but an end of total chaos, violence and depravity,I would not wish on anyone, least of all my children.
