Since we in Australia are following the US in most publications and usage of pharmaceuticals due to manufacture etc.wouldn't be appropriate
to follow suit in follow-up research on the ground?
An alarming report appeared from the US checking their local water supplies finding out how many pharmaceuticals are appearing in drinking water even after purification at the water treatment plants.I found it disgusting, even aquifers are affected. Makes you wonder when we having to make decisions about water supplies etc now why not research that subject. Between drinking re-used water and desalination I would vote for desal.
