IAOMT is the International Academy of Oral Medical Toxicology. This organisation is against the use of mercury in amalgams in dentistry. However after viewing this video I had some suspicions and did some research.Mercury is six times heavier than air and if this film clip was taken from the normal vertical position, the mercury vapours shoud have been falling to earth as does co2 gas, only much faster. If this was filmed from above, then the vapours should have been falling towards the screen.Neither was the case. The tooth was dipped in water and so it seems that we were viewing water vapour and not mercury vapour. The mercury vapour also seemed too profuse to me to be emitting that much vapour form a 25 yr old tooth.Their instuments in another clip do show a positive response to mercury vapour coming from a tooth however, the gases we were seeing in the Smoking Teeth clip were not tested.

My argument is this,if organisations such as these want their research taken seriously, then they should present credible research, otherwise it destroys the credibility of the other good work they have done.See" The Beneficial Effect of Amalgam Replacement in Patients with Autoimmunity" www.nel.edu This shows that amalgam fillings do pose serious health risks to all of us. There are many other studies indicating likewise, and they should be taken seriously.
