Does anyone believe that Korea is a danger as a member of the Nuclear club?

Or is George Bush up to his old tricks again trying to drum up another excuse to go to war...AGAIN?

If they are can we stop them and how?

Dear Taurus

Would the late and not to great Pablo Escobar be a threat to the world if he had acquired RPG's and Missiles etc ? Yep.. he could better protect his operations which are destroying thousands of lives.

Is North Korea involved in the drug trade ? (hint.. North Korean ship..Victoria.. a year of so back)

When would mr Escobar 'use' such weapons.... clearly when he was threatened by those who he was 'invading' with drugs.

We have a very difficult situation with N.Korea.

1/ They are engaging in threatening and potentially mass destructive behavior. (Exporting nuclear technology to terrorist/enemy states)
2/ They have an alliance with China
3/ They could easily destroy millions in Seoul and S.Korea
4/ They would not care two hoots if they did.
5/ Ultimately, what they now have, will spread, because they need money.

We seem to have here in embryo form, an almost unthinkable situation.

Solutions:

1/ Nuke them, but not in a population centre just as a show of force(this would bring China into it ?)
2/ Sanctions ? "hahahahahahaha" yeah right.
3/ Arm South Korea with Nukes ?
4/ Encourage Japan to re-arm including with Nukes ?
5/ Continue giving them 'extortion' money to prop up a criminal ?
6/ Send them a harshly worded letter telling them we are 'displeased' (courtesy of SouthPark.. Team America, World Police)

I honestly dont know. But I'll bet Charles Martel would :)

No radiation has been found from the Korean test -- probably a dud or fake. I'm against the war in Iraq because it caused many more problems than it envisioned solving -- cheaper oil for America -- and killed innocents. Get prepared for Iran unless the Republican religious right loses in November. No president would invade Korea if it actually has nuclear weapons. We only invade symbolisms.

Boaz;
One thing you missed is the very dangerous weapon that Nth Korea uses.
They counterfeit US dollars in very large quantities.
They could likewise counterfeit other currencies at will.
They could do irrepairable damage to the world econimy if they keep this up.
It seems to be one of the major issues between the US and Nth Korea.
Such things have been the cause of war in the past.
