Oh dear mmistrz. What an unfortunate response. Nothing but total negativity and an incredible lack of understanding of the message that I presented....which by the way is strongly relevant to your thread subject.

All posters are free to make any connection they feel is warranted between what is expressed in the opening post of a general thread and what they feel is relevant. The only thing that we are not allowed to do in this regard, according to the forum rules, is post stuff that has completely no connection with the thread subject.

So please, no more lecturing about my responses being inappropriate.

So, why are you concerned about improving the efficient use of energy by computers?

Sorry, but I just automatically assumed that it was because you had some concern about our society’s profligate use of energy and its affect on climate change and on our future wellbeing.

It seems that you have no such concern at all!

Which beggars the question; why on earth aaaare you concerned about it?

There are plenty of solutions such as this one. However it is not the government's place to mandate which solutions we choose or to mandate blanket implimentation of any one solution. They should just increase the price of electricity and let market forces do the rest.

Oh dear mmistrz, I’m asking a direct and totally pertinent question of you, on your own thread…… and you’re not going to answer. You’ve abandoned your own thread midstream....and gone off posting elsewhere on this forum!

What gives!?
