Will you all please leave Troy Buswell alone and allow him to organise his party Colleagues in the West Australian Parliament.
There is a campaign afoot to not allow him to forget his pinging a bra strap of a young lady in Parliament House last October. This was over three months ago no complaints were made so please allow the matter to rest and be forgotten. Troy Buswell is now the rightful Leader of the West Australian Liberal Party and I for one do give him my whole hearted support. AMEN

Mr Rudd's trip to the strip show seemed to add to his popularity showing that he was only human (corrupted in nature) as we all are. I suspect the public will view Troy Buswell as the same. Mr Clinton was even more popular after he had been found to lie and cheat on his wife. Personal character does not seem to matter with most of the electorate!

David,

It depends. Do you go on to tell her that you're a Christian? And that's it's only Christian morality that stops people from wanting to lower the age of consent and have sex with children? And that if you weren't a Christian...

If so, I agree with Frank. Yeah, you should probably feel a bit guilty.

Sorry? He was impeached, for chrissake.

He is popular now because of his, you know, *policies*.

I see so it was Mr Howard's policies on Iraq, refugees and immigration that made him so popular for 11 years or so. And it was all to do with 'policy'. Thanks for that clarification.

rightly so and his mother is proud of him and so are the majority that elected him to lead their distinguished parliamentary party. Kevin Rudd was also a naughty so and so confirming that boys will be boys. Sue Walker is still shadow attorney general and not an independant yet. Whatever happened to Kate Hodgson Thomas the media and everybody ignores it probaly wasn't much anyway. Alchohol can effect individuals greater than others if you are susceptable perhaps Troy will now refrain from drinking it at work now that he has great responsibilities. It will now be interesting how Alan Carpenter will handle the new opposition leader only time will tell with less than a year to go. I would hate to see Labor lose office because that would mean no further progress with railways and freeways, The rail system will be privatised. Nuclear power stations will be erected close to cities and water, Nuclear waste will be introduced to Western Australia. Uranium Mining will expand further utilities will be sold off. Government Education and Health would be a lot worse and private education and health would get even wealthier than they are today.

'I would hate to see Labor lose office because that would mean no further progress with railways and freeways,'

The Mandurah Rail line was started by the Liberals while being opposed by Labour. Have you not heard of a thing called politics!

Didn't we decide way back in the Federal election campaign that "Julie Vickers" is just an ALP troll?

Runner you are so wrong the Liberals have always opposed our railway system and are extremely mean whenever it means spending money on the infrastructure. Richard Court's only policies were Union Bashing with the third wave, The Bell Tower, The eyesore convention Centre. Labor policy was the Mandurah to Clarkson Railway no question so please get your facts straight as there appears to be egg on your face.

Troy Buswell is so childish in demanding the sacking of Jim McGinty the West Australian Newspaper spurred Troy Buswell on to utter such nonsense. Jim McGinty was deceived by a Brian Burke Clone Jim McGinty Trusted Neale Fong and Neale Fong did not honour that trust.

Agreement and respect I have always held with your views dear CJ Morgan but to make misguided accusations such as "Didn't we decide way back in the Federal election campaign that "Julie Vickers" is just an ALP troll? does not justify your fair and just consideration of todays current affairs. All that I have expressed has been completely supportive wholeheartedy with our Conservative policies.
Please do not be so vindictive, abusive, and pontificate to my on my beliefs as though it is coming from a paper tiger.

Whatever you say, "Jules".

Anyway, it's mildly amusing to watch people run around as if you weren't an apparatchik. Still an undergrad, are you?

Mr Buswell is making as many gaffs as Matt Birney did when he was leader. Why is it the Liberals cannot find a worthy leader to combat Alan Carpenter Paul Omedei may not have the Charisma but at least he was sincere respectful and honourable someone you could trust. The Liberals should have supported Mr Omedei because Troy Buswell is making a hash of everything he had better receive some advice from his mentor Mr Chrighton Browne. The West Australian is doing it's utmost in promoting Troy Buswell which is so blatant it would dive to the lowest depths to bring about a return to a reactionary Liberal State Government. The last Court Kiereth Government destroyed the workers Compensation legislation and now they are bleating about Labor bringing it back to help our State Police why can't they make their mind up.
