They are proposing to use the internet to help with decision making for Senate votes if they manage to win a seat. Worth a look if you're into participatory or radical democracy, or even old fashioned democracy. The Senate needs a shake up, even if this might not be the best the best way to do it. I like that they are trying something outside the box.

So IF you have a PC, the money to own one, the will to have one, the skills to use one? elitist and hair brained!

it's nice that the concept of 'citizen' participation in government is seeping into ozzie heads. but as usual, no one has any idea about how to bell the cat.

there's no substitute for democracy, and democracy doesn't happen in a nation willing to approach their 'betters' cap-in-hand, saying: "please sir, may we have more?"

Will you disclose the number of votes or just a percentage.
Are you seeking clear majority per important poll votes? If so, would you ask for a preference to nominate? My two cent? Don't do this latter, it will muddle heads.
