Here is one to make you laugh.
The Brisbane City Council had a corporate integrity unit but during a meeting i was at we laughed at the integrity off calling this meeting.
Saying we did not know there was any integrity in the councils management. He even had an police lookalike badge he showed us as he said ,this is me, to prove his importance. Then later when i tried to contact him on another matter the name had been change to the ethics and standards unit. But it was a waste of time as the very nice and polite
secretary told me he was on holidays and that he was the only one there
to investigate the ethics and standards of the matter. So we had one person in the employment of those in charge on holidays so as you can guess the matter was ended before he came back. It was only one worker who lost their job so no real loss at all. And the only thing wrong is this is all true.

YOu cannot defend yourself against a Labor Government as they can destroy documents even after being requested under FOI and not have to answer to anybody, and it is not seen as suspicious, and the can prepare documents to produce. The FOI does not require them to produce documents in any particular form, so they can be unsigned, undated, untrue and they still count.

Basically they can prepare the picture that they want to present and it has to be believed on face value by them. They have themselves covered - so you can't win, all you can do is make their life as miserable as they are making yours in the hope that things change.
