Sharkfin – Killing the murder only increases society overall suffering. The murder might be a father with children, how do you think those children will feel now that they will never get to know their father?

The only people who should be jailed for life are those who should be in an institution due to mental problems.

I think you will find the majority of murders are committed by “one off” murderers and usually a heat of the moment thing. Not that this takes away any of the seriousness of the crime but it should be considered when considering a punishment
