Caulfield Primary School, Melbourne. Colleen Harkin, Deputy Leader of One Nation, and election candidate, is on their clacker, supporting parents demanding the right to remove their children from “divisive gender lessons” under a so-called ‘Respectful Relationships program’ for children as young as 5 years. ON would scrap the mandatory program. Parents have been advised by the school that their children would be participating in this inappropriate nonsense
Parents were advised that teachers would be telling children that some people feel that they did not get a “good match” for their body parts, using a supposed case history that ‘Stacey’ a transgender girl, who was told “she” could not play on a girls’ team should say that her teacher says “she” belongs on the girls' team.
Despite the Victorian government stating (quietly two years ago) that parents ‘may’ stop their children from participating, at least one parent was allegedly told by the school principal that there was no opting out of the program.
Principals and teachers might not want to teach this dangerous rubbish when they should be teaching the 3 Rs, and letting parents deal with the often bewildering process of growing up. Many do complain, but they have their means of living to protect.
It's up to Victorian voters to decide who is the best type of politician to protect their kids and all other kids. Hopefully they will do that.
