As terrible as it was, the events of September 11th 2001 when 3,000 innocent lives were taken in a barbaric act of terrorism in America. What we should not forget also is the 4.5 million innocent lives taken in the past 25 years by horrific acts of terrorism committed by America and its allies, including Australia. What has been the cost of American retribution;

1 million killed in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, 3.5 million killed by economic deprivation, starvation and disease at the hands of America and its allies. This is the true result of 9/11, not just 3,000 dead in America. We should remember and condemn all the senseless acts of state sanctioned murder against innocent people
