Hanson built her One Nation party on racism. In her maiden speech Hanson said; "I believe we are in danger of being swamped by Asians". Other comments by Hanson have breached the Racial Discrimination Act. The topic of race is a cornerstone of One Nation policy, its certainly relive to any discussion about the party.

What I would like to see is One Nation running a government. Labor has been in office long enough in Victoria, a One Nation replacement would give the electorate a chance to measure them in a practical way before the next federal election.

Using the term "swamped" with its bad meaning would be considered racist. Judging people as a group, rather than their individual character is racist.

People concerned about Albanese's madcap mass immigration blame him, not immigrants themselves, who cannot be blamed for wanting to come to Australia. It is the number of them and the quality of them that is a problem, not their race or what they look like.

One Nation's own immigration policy really doesn't warm my heart either. Instead of saying they will bring in only immigrants that Australia NEEDS, they talk about numbers, just like the uniparty. How do any of them come to the conclusion that 130,000, for instance, is right! They are not telling us.

My own family is not what used to be the norm. In a couple of months, I will be great-great grandfather to a half-Maori little baby. Her father is a great young bloke, working at two jobs to support his little family. I have a granddaughter with a Middle Eastern boyfriend who sat next to me last Christmas and ate 3 helpings of Christmas pudding, even though he had to ask what it was.

In my daily walks I swap ‘G'days’ and grins with Indians, Chinese, Africans, and people I can't identify by just looking at them.
