Something voters need to ask themselves before the next election is; "If I vote for Pauline Hanson's One Nation, what do I get if they were to form government?" Do I get a competent set of leaders with workable policies who can "run the country" or do I get "chaos in Canberra" from a set of incompetents. The only indicators beforehand are the past performances of Hanson and Joyce, and a couple of other One Nation Senators and the newbie MP David Farley. Is it a risk that Australians cannot afford to take right now. There is an old saying; "Be careful what you wish for...you just might get it."

Well, the polls suggest that she is. Preferred PM 33%, against the Liar 29%.

Then there's the $3.9 million campaign Fire the Liar going wild and leaving the Liar flat-footed. Socialists can hate One Nation to their hearts content. Nobody knows what will happen at the next election - what Socialist dirty tricks won't be pulled by the uniparty.

But, One Nation has given Australians hope, and an option to the ruling trash that they have not had since Bob Menzies.

The redheaded redneck will never change. Still a moronic racist who deserves nothing but scorn for her bigotry and ignorance. She would fit in nicely around here. Luckily "real" Australia is nothing like the cesspit of extremists that is OLO.

The money seems to be on One Nation - apart from the millions donated to the Fire the Liar campaign, and the gift of an aeroplane from Gina Rinehart, who used to support the Coalition.

At a recent dinner hosted by Angus Taylor, just over a dozen guests paid $2,000 to dine.

At Hancock mining a similar dinner for One Nation was held at which 50 paid $15,000 each to attend.

Labor has union money. One Nation has private money. The Liberals have the threadbare gentry. Money should, perhaps, not be used to gain power - but it is: and One Nation didn't start it. And, people who are definitely not rich are also putting their money on One Nation.

No more news on the Liar's pleading for $27 per head donations from Labor supporters. Perhaps the Liar's silly utterance that “99% of people reading this won't contribute, we hope you will be different”.

He would never get a job as a fund-raiser. Just as well that he has a big fat pensions supplied by the victims of his Socialist madness.

Latest info. The Liar's plea for $27 each from the 1% he thought might give has so far gleaned “ barely a trickle” while One Nation's, $3.6 million checked independent auditors is correct, and it has been delivered, “not just promised”.

Not enough yet to buy the Liar's $4.3 million mansion.

Labor is now treating One Nation as the official opposition.

I wonder if the Liar will reduce the old opposition's staff allocation, give it to ON, and replace those he has already cut.

Hi Mike,

It's the "weed out the bad people" mentality that has been the main driver of Hanson's rise. Have you seen how many uni students are too scared to voice an opinion?

As for fitness to govern, Magoo has demonstrated perhaps the greatest incompetence of any PM. Policy? If Hanson gets rid of net zero and allows a free market without koala clubbing grifters, there should be a big improvement from that alone.

As with socialism, weeding out the bad people might work for a time, but eventually everyone realises that they are a bad person, as they did in Venezuela where the socialist government now enjoys 4% popularity.

I cannot see the fair Pauline as having the awareness and overall ability to head a party which governs Australia.
If by some circumstance her party gained the ability to govern, we would indeed need to have our fingers crossed.
Nothing would change much in the short term, but longer term might be a rough ride.
Whatever some might think of our present government, it does have experience, and semi-competent persons to fill critical roles.

AND HERE I STRONGLY DISAPPROVE OF USING THE WORD LIAR TO DESCRIBE ANY CURRENT POLITICAL PARTY OR PERSON.

Use of that term is disgraceful, and lessens the dignity of those who use it.
And I must remind you that we can all have a change of mind.
In science for example, it happens all the time.
A view is formed and adhered to.
But solid fact gets in the way, and obliges a change of thinking.
That is life.
Not to change direction when this happens would be a dereliction of duty.
If good reasons are given, we must accept the new way of doing things.
That is the way it is.

Not sure whether One Nation could get enough good people standing with her to Govern. What is obvious is that anything would be better than the treacherous deceitful dei incompetents now in power. Give me someone who has run a fish and chip shop over the grubs who are funded by unions stealing money from super, billionaire lying climate cultist, and corporations supporting the nation being divided by race. Then you have the filthy Greens who cheer men in girls changerooms and sports, killing babies up to birth and being in bed with globalist grubs. Yeah Pauline might not be bright but against this mob she is brilliant.

Lying and politics go hand in hand. Albanese is a proven liar.

Lying, particularly in public life, is a “disgrace”. It is highly desirable that liars are called out.

You can't just have a “change of mind” when you do the opposite to what you promised not to do to get elected. That's lying.

Albanese, on his own admission, lied 50 times about the CGT.

He is a liar.

Shouting in block letters by some naive person will not change that.

Mugs rushing to donate to extreme political parties is not new, in 2017 the Australian Conservatives led by Cory Bernardi, (now with a cushy job in the SA Upper House as a One Nation member) arrived on the Australian political landscape with much fanfare. Calling for donations to fight Labor at the next election, the money rolled in thick and fast, even one mug here said he had made his donation. By the time the 2019 election came around the Australian Conservatives had virtually disappeared, and all the donated dosh with them, jet setting, five star accommodation, wining and dining at only the best establishments does cost money, even mugs money. The party was a disaster, running senate candidates in every state, scoring less than half a percent of the vote with no candidates elected. Post the 2019 election the party de-registered and quickly disappeared.

Thanks for repeating what I wrote. Repetition helps get the message through.

Lying in public life is certainly a disgrace. The more it gets repeated the better. And lying to win an election is particularly egregious.

I've now got the message out 3 times, thanks to you.

You don't have a clue what I thought/said or didn't think/say about something John Howard said 30 years ago in 1996. I had to use AI to find out if he even spoke about ‘core and non core promises’.

You are highly unlikely to remember what you did or said 30 years ago, let alone what a complete stranger thought at the time. I don't even remember your presence on Online opinion 30 years ago.

Your one sentence name-calling is not exactly memorable.

What about this stuff about Tony Abbott lying “through his teeth?

Do you have any examples for us? He was stopped by wets on 18C.

Then there's “moralscum”. Is that an oh-so-funny (in your mind) name for Scott Morrison?

Not much chop as a PM, but your angry-child accusation that he “lied to all and sundry about pretty much everything” is a slanderous lie in itself.

Just for the record, I have no truck with any of the hasbeens you drag up from history, and they have nothing to do with the worst Prime Minister in Australia's history here and now.

You should stick to your one or two sentences calling people rednecks and racists.

That’s all you are good for.

There's your mate Paul 1405, who twists his own thread “Is Pauline Hanson The Real Deal” around by rambling on about “mugs” donating to “extreme politics parties”.

The mug himself doesn't seem to have recognised that Albanese's call for money appears to have fallen on deaf ears. Instead people are willing to donate to get rid of him.

Australians want their country back. There is nothing “extreme” about that.

“The negative portrayal of the One Nation Party by sections of the media, ruling elites, and academic commentators (and ignorant oiks here) constitutes a denigration of the will of the people. Quite frankly, it is a repudiation of democracy. This denigration assumes that the understanding of ‘democracy’ must necessarily be compatible with the elitist views of the progressive left-wing forces (and ignorant oiks) ... .".

Hi ttbn,

As you were the first to raise political donations, I responded as YOU were the very example of one duped into donating and then have the money seemingly put to other purposes. It certainly didn't result in any kind of victory.

Hanson claims to represent "the battlers", yet says she gets her political advice from Gina Rhinoceros, and large political donations from Gina and other mining elites. These people would hardly have the interests of "the battlers" front and centre.

As for an upshot in the opinion polls, that has more to do with the void created by the catastrophic failures in the Liberal/National parties, a poorly received Labor budget, and the general perception by the electorate that they are hard done by, rather than any "hard work" on the part of Hanson and her One Nation acolytes, although ON has been the beneficiary of such chaos and confusion.

p/s Maybe Hanson should change the name to On Nation Socialist Workers Party, it did wounder's for another chap in earlier times. With Gina's approval of course!

Unlike the out-of-date political parties, One Nation tells the truth about the bloody awful United Nations, which Senator Malcolm Roberts says is “an expensive failure that inflicts genuine harm on the world”.

The UN has become “ a misery and corruption into a sustainable industry further weaponised in the hands of powerful nations that govern themselves in contradiction to everything the UN claims to stand for”.

The piss poor uniparty and bedraggled odds and sods independents and weirdos don't say boo about what the UN is doing to Australia and the rest of the West.

We no longer require an Earth-sized bureaucracy to babysit dialogue, says the Senator. The UN can't collapse fast enough.

Instead of trying to save the UN, like the “morally weak” Labor Party and the “skittish” Coalition do, it should be allowed to die. To rot.

The UN is strapped for cash. Little António Guterres had to send begging letters last year. 70% of members paid up. The U.S, unfairly propping up the rotten organisation, “owes” $4 billion, thanks to Donald Trump, the only Western leader with the guts to put the scoundrels in their place.

Roberts believes that Australia would be significantly better off without the UN, economically, socially, democratically, regionally, and militarily. The UN has allowed third-world, communist, and despotic states to band together under the protection of a few like-minded states to wield very real global power that “they world never have achieved on their own”.

Donald Trump knows how to deal with the UN, asking why the hell does the West pay such a huge percentage of the UN's costs “for the privilege of losing its strategic grip".

One Nation appears to be the only political entity capable of asking the same question for Australia.

The rise of the One Nation political party can only be attributed to how woeful the rest must be. As mentioned numerous times elsewhere, the rest have only themselves to blame.

Poorlean has, so far, very successfully hoodwinked a significant percentage of the population into believing that she alone has the solutions to our problems. She alone is not a captive of elite interests (except Gina of course) or pressure groups. She alone stands tall, unswayed, proudly “Australian”.

How far from the image the truth really is. Unfortunately. the grey unthinking masses fail to recognize that simplistic slogans such as ‘Fire the liar’ or ‘Stop the immigrants’ isn’t the solution to anything. Neither do they recognize that she is being played like a puppet on a string by the richest capitalist in the country. Do they really believe that Gina has the interests of the workers front and center?

And then there is the woeful and sloppy disregard for the law as required for an Incorporated Association I referred to in another post on this site. Ref: https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2026/jun/11/one-nation-party-financial-reports-returns-fair-trading-ntwnfb

If Poorlean is elected PM, it will indeed be “Poor fellow my country”.

Pauline, if she does indeed get over the line, will front the most vicious & vile sabotage from the Left that'll make the standard cranks look like angels from heaven. I'd hope she doesn't put career bureaucrats in place & ensures to only put private enterprise experienced wherever possible. Wherever bureaucrats from the present administration need to be kept, a very close scrutiny is needed to warrant keeping them on just because they're there now !

I had a Clive Palmer UAP leaflet in my letter box this morning.

Clive is another one the Socialists love to sneer at; like Pauline Hanson (on a larger scale) he is a business man who knows how to turn a dollar, unlike most of the dangerous political class that has always had its snouts in the public trough, but presumes to run the massive business that is Australia.

No more subsidies for foreigners. No more government spending on renewables
No more Net Zero. He estimates savings for Australia of $1.6 - $1.9 trillion.

The private sector should be in control and taking the risks in offering deals for all types of power generation. It is not the business of the government.

Australians should not be paying as much as they do for our gas when exporters sell it so cheaply that Japan buys it, sells it on, and still makes a profit.

Zero Immigration. Mass immigration is making us poorer. We don't need a big population.

Economist Peter Smith blames Keynesian economics for mass immigration, and points out that Norway with only 6 million people has a higher per capita GDP than America.

All things being equal, fewer people - not more - equates to higher productivity. Smith refers to how productivity surged after tens millions of workers were wiped out by the Black Death. “Inventiveness responds to shortages”.

I do not agree with Palmer's idea of increasing all pensions by 30%. The same applies to wages. No increased productivity, no extra money. Wages and pension rise, prices rise.

The UAP also has sensible policies on health, housing, education, national debt and the public service.

If the Right of politics cannot now get together in a coalition to oust the disgraceful Albanese ultra-Socialist government, they cannot be taken seriously.

Australians need action; not silly bickering among natural allies.

Pauline Hanson showed her true grit at the National Press conference.

Her speech reading was bit cringe-making - she should get training in reading aloud to a crowd - but when it was over, and she could be herself, she really put the lefty inquisitors posing as journalists back in their boxes,

The very worst thing her enemies can do is go on the attack; she thrives on it. Hopefully they will remain stupid enough to think they can put her down.

And, she wasn't in the least bit fazed by the thugs who were allowed to tear down a poster next to her.

"And, she wasn't in the least bit fazed by the thugs who were allowed to tear down a poster next to her."

"THUGS" National Press Club Chief Executive Maurice Reilly and venue staff tore down the protest banner that was unrolled during One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson's address.

I watched the whole thing on the ABC's iView app, with which I do all my ABC watching so I can watch what I want to watch without all the Leftist ideology.

Anyone who did the same would know that when the GetUp poster was dropped down, the camera was on Hanson, and what was on the poster was not visible. By the time the camera was moved, two people had torn it down so that the content had gone, and I mistakenly thought that removal of something I couldn't see was the offence.

I later saw the event elsewhere, at a different angle, and realised my mistake. I didn't feel any obligation to correct my error as I don't believe posters would care one way or the other. I should have known that a nasty arsehole who constantly scans for opportunities to badmouth other people, would have picked my error up and run with it.

Anyway, we know now that his sort of nasty people, GetUp, were responsible (they bragged about it) and that the incident has been referred to Federal Police.

Fools like GetUp and and Paul 1405, are too thick to realise that the silly act was a gift to Pauline Hanson, who thrives on and uses such stuff to her advantage. Picking on her is like picking on Donald Trump - stupidly non-productive and likely to be used against them when they least expect it.

The ABC, YOU wont be watching it for too long if the Lovely Pauline has her way, only "approved" official news outlets will be tolerated, the ones that ask the right kind of questions. The notion that One Nation is for the battlers is a hoax, they represent the sectional interests of big business. Why do YOU think Gina Rhinoceros is pampering the Lovely Pauline, Gina knows that One Nation is a means to an end, its not about free aeroplanes and toy bulldozers, its about control and the future direction of Australia.

Hi Aries,
I'm going to do the old please explain here.

"Nigel Farage would give foreigners 3 months to get out of social housing into private accommodation, or find themselves deported."

Some parts may seem a bit dramatic like 'deportation' for example.
But social housing was bad enough and getting worse already even before these governments decided 'lets bring in half a million people a year'.

People get into housing and for many that's their 'set for life'. They'll never have to pay big rents like everyone else. Why should newcomers with their claims of ethnic minority disadvantage get put at the head of the queue in a system already can't provide for everyone.

They turn minority disadvantage into lifetime advantage, at the cost of others who were born here and lived here all their lives and never gotten any such benefits... and these newcomers have only been here a few months.

Maybe we can give the immigrants $90 NDIS carers twice a day for them also, include a taxpayer funded immigrant bum wiping service as well using the fancy flushable wipes instead the of standard toilet paper.

They give them a house, they give them furniture, they give them money and benefits and everything.

At what point does the person who could not care one way of another if people do or don't wish to move here, but who don't want to be forced to pay for those people themselves. At what point are those people allowed to rightly say 'Why are these people getting all these lifetime benefits that I can't even get and why am I being asked to pay for it?'

At what point are those people allowed to legitimately grumble something like 'Go get your own house it's not an extended forever holiday' You got your freebees now go to the back of the queue like everyone else has to.'

Or are they not allowed to say that?
They are expected to pay for it.... but can't say it?
Hows that work exactly?

Where is the fair and reasonable limit with lefties, before complaints are valid?

Aries54,

I'll just say a couple of things to you before I ignore you in future.

Everyone is biased, including you. There are lots of different biases and opinions.

It is only your opinion that runner was hypocritical. And his biases are just different from yours. It is not your responsibility to “point out” anything to anyone, and I can assure you it will have no effect on him. He will still think what he wants to, as will you.

Criticising other people's opinions is no substitute for staying your own opinions.

Had you responded to the question ‘Is Pauline Hanson The Real Deal’ we would know your opinion. But, all that is known is that you acted like a girlyman and attacked a person who did have an opinion.

Hi AC
Runner mentioned a point which had nothing to do with the topic of this thread. I pointed out the hypocrisy of that statement. The usual suspect, ttbn, didn’t like that. So be it. I will continue to expose the extreme double standards of zealots on both sides of politics. (It’s just that we seem to get more right-wing zealots on this particular site.)

You rise 2 different issues – that of housing and immigrants. I honestly don’t have the answer. IMHO supply is definitely the main issue. How to get more housing built, and quickly? I’m a big believer that we must stop the suburban sprawl. The infrastructure required to sustain it is far too expensive for starters. I also wonder why we can’t have a system in Australia similar to Europe where you can rent for life. Blaming immigrants as the sole cause of the problem is simplistic, easy and in-humane.

Having said that, you highlight a legitimate situation in your post. I think it is perfectly reasonable to say “We will support you (the immigrant) for a reasonable limit to get established.” The question then becomes what is a ‘reasonable limit’ of both tine, and resources. For all appearances from where I sit, the UK is in a deep crisis. Maybe it’s kama hitting back at the Empire?

Once again, IMO (ttbn seems to think I am unwilling to share my opinions) I find Nigel Farage and Pauline to be opportunistic hate mongers, laden with gripes about everything, offering only cheap, popularist solutions to complex problems. Problems created by both sides of politics over many years. I absolutely understand why the electorate is braying for change. I just don’t see Pauline or Nigel as the answer.

I know far right to leftist grubs are those who oppose men in girls changerooms and those opposed to murdering babies in the womb. But heh the good news is your filthy identity Politics does not work anymore. Alternative media has allowed people to see what the globalist leftist grubs have been up to in their attempt to destroy Western Civilisation. The only thing left to these grubs is violence hence the daily tantrums. Unfortunately they also murder those who expose their filth (you know like Charlie Kirk).

Hi AC,

Not every migrant is on the gravy train. I knew a Filipinos family in Sydney, he was about 35 and his wife 30, two children, girl aged 8, very bright child at school, plus a 2 year old baby boy, with a birth defect. He worked as an orderly doing shift work in an aged care home, not great money, no car, living in a one bed flat. You could not meet nicer people, warm and kind, struggling to make a go of it in Australia, she was terribly homesick for her family, back home in the Philippines. He spoke good English, but she always struggled with the language, I can speak some Spanish, but not terrific. My wife spent a lot of time with her and the children, as she suffered so much emotional stress, with the baby, not being able to work, Husband always working shifts, living in a cramped flat, and feeling so lonely and isolated in Australia. The little girl called my wife her Aussie Granda (meaning grandmother) They eventually put a deposit on a two bedroom unit, nothing flash, but close to his work, and they were hoping before we left Sydney to take a family holiday, sometime back "home" to where her family lived.

Fairly ironic that up to 5 minutes ago Labor/Greens were always banging on about what a racist/sexist/homophobic place Australia is. Even Pakistan senators got on the bandwagon ignoring the 250000 or so young girls their countrymen raped in UK. Now that Pauline is up in the poles the same mob are posting everywhere what a great country this is and how Pauline would destroy it.

Hi runner,

"I (runner) know far right to leftist grubs are those who oppose men in girls changerooms and those opposed to murdering babies in the womb."

Don't YOU oppose men in girls change rooms, and are YOU not opposed to murdering babies in the womb. So what are YOU, a far right or far left grub?

BTW, Is 'Plug the Alter Boy' still being played by Fr Fookemup and Br Penatradis on a Sunday morning in church? All with the blessing of the congregation! Hummmm!

In what can be only described as bizarre, the top dog at One Nation, Gina Rhinoceros, wants to give Australian sovereign territory to the worlds richest man, the trillionair foreigner Elon Musk.

GR said;
"sparsely or non-populated" islands off North Queensland's coast should be offered to SpaceX CEO Elon Musk "at no cost" for building and launching satellites."

On the one hand these ON wack jobs want to take property purchased by foreigners in Australian away, and with the other hand give the worlds richest foreigner Australian territory. Bizarre! I can only assume there is something in it for Gina.

You beat me to it Paul. I was going to comment on this enormous example of double standards too. Take stuff away from the disadvantaged and give even more (for free) to the world's richest man. And they don't even blink or blush in shame at suggesting this. It reminds me of the magician who whispers to his assistant "I'll wave the hanky over here and you sneak on the elephant. They won't notice a thing."

One of the things not high among the reactions to Pauline Hanson's NPC speech is her claim that “ ‘Insurgent’ transgender ideology has captured “almost every instrument of government”. Once again, she is right; the erosion of women's rights reached the point of madness in court on the Giggle v Tickle case.

Twice now, the right to have a women-only site has been lost to a bloke in a dress. The judgement, which saw the penalty doubled for the site's owner, was off the planet.

Lesbians, who at least know what sex they are, have to go to court to protect themselves from heterosexual sexual men who identify as women.

Any professionals objecting - doctors, psychologists etc - have their livings removed by the ‘instruments of government’ Hanson referred to.

Indoctrination in the same instruments of government, public schools, is increasing.

The government is ruining the careers of medical professionals, suing women, and sidelling parents.

Anybody watching the Senate questioning of the $400k a year Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody would rightly think that we live in La La Land, with her crap about men potentially getting pregnant.

“Doctor” Cody is a doctor of philosophy and a lawyer.

Pauline Hanson would sack her.

In reply to all the jabbering about One Nation being being backed by billionaires, the Albanese Socialists have received donations from 19 different billionaires or their Big Business organisations.

Names and amounts publicly available.

In my view, the closest Australia has come to an envisioned "One Nation" style government is the far right shambolic, criminally corrupt Bjelke-Petersen State Government in Queensland between 1968 and 1987.

Newly elected One Nation MP David Farley crossed the floor in the House of Representatives to vote with the Greens and Teal independents on an amendment to cap fuel tax credit rebates for large mining companies. This must have resulted in much displeasure from the Gina Rhinoceroses, who pockets millions from fuel cap tax credit rebates. I'm sure the appropriate amount of arse licking will take place to smooth it all over with Gina!

What a surprise, One Nation have a new enemy within the Liberal Party, the conservative dry Andrew Hastie.

In comments first reported in the Nine papers and confirmed by Guardian Australia, Hastie told Tuesday’s (Liberal Party) meeting that he would not stop fighting One Nation.

“I would rather get taken out in a box than bend the knee to One Nation,” he said.

“I will never surrender to One Nation, and we will do them, and do them slowly.”

p/s Tony Burke, home affairs minister has advised Hastie that he had been identified for security measures at his home and electorate office.

The comments adds to the tension inside the Coalition about how best to confront One Nation, as the populist party’s support surges. Hastie is not supported in this by Party el supremo Tony Abbott or Abbott's sycophant Angus Taylor, both wanting to do a deal with One Nation on seat sharing and preferences.

A problem for the Lovely Pauline, she is yet to convince the electorate that she is not Adolf Hitler in drag, but rather a political Florence Nightingale coming to give care and compassion to a sick voting populace. Her comments on monoculture and women was the first sign she's still waving the swastika flag, or if she is Florence, she's going to give everyone a triple dose of Epsom Salts when elected. Didn't go down well with those swing voters!

It's sad that students are afraid to give an opinion, in the so called "centres of excellence" of Australia. So much for critical thinking.

Has Angus Taylor finally woken up, while the Lovely Pauline is cavorting around London with the Pommy Neo-Nazi Tommy Robinson. So much for her elected duties in Australia, where she turns up for work 12% of the time. Angus Taylor warned of ‘eternity of pain’ if One Nation wins government, ain't that a fact! In a Sydney speech last evening Taylor said;

“To those who feel like lighting a match, believe me when I say that a moment of satisfaction isn’t worth the eternity of pain that will follow. One Nation claims to offer a way out of our national malaise. In reality, they would only make things worse.”

Taylor accused Hanson of having bad policies, poor judgement and worse personnel, insisting she could provide no answers for Australians who feel left behind. Taylor said in government One Nation would add a trillion dollars to Australia's debt. One Nation has a swag bag of un-costed, un-funded harebrained promises, with which it hopes to win government.
