If Palestinians are under occupation and under a blockade, sujbect to attacks, oppression and collective punishment and Israel detains a Palestinian in the place in which he or she lives, then takes them away from there, to an Israeli prison and held on 'indefinite administrative detention' without charge, and then subjected to beatings, rape, torture and more, are they a prisoner (awaiting their day in court) or a hostage kidnapped by a foreign government?
