The high level of tension generated by the taking of hostages has
changed the whole process of negotiation.
It places the terrorist organisation holding the hostages in a more
difficult position than the victims country.
At present Hamas thinks they have the upper hand, but in reality each
time they release a hostage their advantage declines.
It will reach a point where they dare not release more hostages and as
soon as Israel realises they have reached "end game" they will end the
whole process and destroy Gaza completely and the Gazans will realise
they must leave.
Israel will extract a very severe revenge for having to sacrifice the
remaining hostages.
The rest of us will just wring our hands as there is no solution.

As an addendum I just heard on the radio last night that there is a
proposal to totally destroy Gaza and force the Gazans to leave for
Jordan and Egypt.
I guess this is what I was hinting at; when Israel realises they have
to sacrifice the remaining hostages as Hamas can no longer deplete
their hostage holdings without losing their lever on Israel.

Yes. The ruins of Gaza should be left as a reminder for terrorists, and the population taken in by Arab countries - not the West.

I heard Trump say today that new housing should be built in Egypt and
Jordan so the Gazans can live in peace and he said not very clearly
that he would be interested in participating.
It was not clear whether he meant personally or the US government.

Because of religious beliefs if they are not separated we will see a
repeat again and again.
Both sides reject the two state solution for different reasons.

Saw one report by a "Palistinian" that the people there are 50% Egyptians
and 50% Saudi Arabians.

That puts a different background to it all.

Yes, Foxy interesting speach. I have been aware of the Arab population
of Israel for many years. I have seen figures on just how many Israelis
are of Arab decent. From memory I think it was near a million, but
don't hold me to that.
Even in Australia there is a secret loose groups of anti terrorist
