It is the natural and realistic attitude to express.

Just like Christianity and Judaism there are absurd beliefs in all three monotheistic religions, that includes Islam. If every adherent was to fundamentally believe all the teachings therein and act upon them, then the world would be in a very precarious position indeed. Fortunately for the rest of use, and for the moderate majority in all mainstream religions, the fundamentalist are a small but dangerous minority. Any kind of extremism, political, religious a mix of the two, whatever, is always dangerous.

Some beliefs are benign, for example such as Christians who believe that literally the universe was created in 6 days, a potty but harmless belief in itself, easily proven by science to be untrue. Taken to extreme such fundamentalism can lead to notions of retribution against all non-believers for their sinfulness, then the beliefs in themselves become extremely dangerous.

The situation with Islam involves more than just religious intolerance, and a series of perverted beliefs, in addition to the religious aspect it also involves economic and social injustice, which creates a volatile situation where religion gives impetuous to those wanting to vent their anger against those seen as the enemy/persecutors.

Israel probably killed a few hundred innocent women and kids today and every other day over the last 1 year plus.
They want conflict and confrontation, let them have it.
It was karma as much as anything.

I do not care about suffering Israelis anymore, I want them to suffer for what they've done.
Suffering brings regret and reflection.
Though I do not support the killing of innocents on either side, which itself is the point.
