The only way we can hit back at overbearing governments is with strong, prolonged and stubborn endurance. Political parties have handed the reins over to unelected bureaucrats; voting is not going to make much difference. Does anyone seriously believe that electing the Coalition will make any difference? If the Coalition is elected next year, does anyone seriously think that things will be much better?

If the M.A.D Bill gets through, we won't be able to speak the truth. The Coalition has its own version of censorship waiting for us, so it might as well stick with Labor’s version. Much easier for lazy politicians. The Coalition retained Leftist policies during its last decade in the job; it has moved further to the Left since then.

Even ‘join-the-Liberal Party-or-die Tony Abbott admits that the Liberal Party has drifted to the Left; that centre-right governments “all too often are in office but not in power," acknowledging that the Liberal Party has increasingly been swayed by Leftist agendas rather than standing firm on traditional conservative values. (CPAC Conference 2024).

All politicians want to be “on the right side of history”. The Liberals are OK with digital ID, and taking what children see out of the hands of their parents

The Liberal Party needs to “get over the net zero fixation”, Abbott says, show some courage, and stop “following the lead” on climate change, immigration and culture values. “Conservatives must reclaim their core principles”.

The new Left establishment has “colonised” our political parties - including the Liberal Party, whose “attempts to appease progressive agendas have led to a dilution of its core values”.

The Liberal Party has lost its way by failing to defend the very values that made Australia a great nation.

While there have been moves to the right in Europe, the Anglosphere is ruled by Socialists. We are being brought to our knees. Merely voting for the same people is not going to raise us up.

#Merely voting for the same people is not going to raise us up.#..

Radicalism is in full view as the driving force for Western Democracies. There will be conflicts between radical groups for one group to gain power over the other, conglomerating a ruling faction.

I put my money on Islam to win; it’s over halfway to the winning post. The current US administration has assured this outcome

ttbn,
I don't think it could be worse. In Qld Labor is already scaremongering about Crisafully doing a Campbell Newma i.e. ridding the State of many un-needed bureaucrats. If an LNP Qld Govt would sort out the Public Service it should do so by natural attrition of bureaucrats & not actual workers as Newman did so terribly wrong. I'd say Newman's failure came down to listening to academic & bureaucrat experts to put people off rather than doing the intelligent & moral thing of not replacing useless staff. I still reel at his stupidity to sack people in maintenance etc. Crisafully has the benefit of cultural background so that puts him way above Campbell from the start. Qld can change for the more sensible if no-one loses their job, just be very careful who is replaced & who is actually needed. Labor built itself a far too large voter base of pointless bureaucrats who hinder running the State rather than improve it.
The youth Crime catch cry will be pointless if Magistrates & Judges are working for the victims instead of the perpetrators. Bring back Community Service in ever town. Councils should be tasked with that. They have already so many positions & it would be very easy to take on Community Service for basic offenders. Such youths could be engaged alongside Council workers in labourer-like tasks.
I think the LNP needs to stop listening to academic "experts" & listen to people who actually know things relating to daily life ! Above all, make bureacrats accountable for wasting public funding. It can be done & people will come to appreciate & accept common sense approaches !

'We must get off our knees'

Armchair Critic,
Just because they can't see & don't know doesn't give them the Right to drag all of us down ! We arrived at this deplorable dilemma due to National Service having been sold for the votes of these people.

Dear ttbn,

.

You say :

1. « We Must Get Off Our Knees »
.

But, you must not sit still or lie down either !
.

2. « The Liberal Party has lost its way … »
.

Here are the GPS coordinates, ttbn :
.

• The Liberal Party must be liberal,

• It must never forget the past,

• It must constantly adapt to the present,

• It must always prepare for the future
.

I hope your knees are OK, ttbn, and you’re up and running.

Bonne route !

.

On 18th. October Dutton was still talking about Net Zero by 2050 and "decarbonising" the system, while arguing with a schoolgirl from the ABC, without announcing that he would defund her job and her employer next year.

Add his nuclear nonsense instead of getting back cheap coal and ignoring the carbon dioxide (not carbon) lie, and it seems that we won't see a lot of difference when Albanese is kicked out simply because he deserves to be kicked out.

Only a few months to the next election, and it's still the same sh.t we are getting. And, at the above date, the Liberal Party website was still threatening to "protect" us with online censorship. And, while they say they are against the M.A.D Bill, they haven't actually said that they would repeal it if does get through.

We don't have a very bright future to look forward to if we continue to vote the way we do - lazily and with no imagination.

Given the similarities of the two main parties, our only hope is the Senate: 12 candidates below the line, with no Liberal Labor or Greens among them.

“Australia is in a serious, indeed dangerous, state of constitutional dysfunction, a dysfunction which is impoverishing the country, seriously damaging education and leaving us defenceless”.

“ …. in terms of political rulers Australians could be the unluckiest people”. (Constitutional lawyer, Professor David Flint)

"And, while they say they are against the M.A.D Bill, they haven't actually said that they would repeal it if does get through."

I thought they were.

"Asked if the Coalition would repeal the bill, Ms McKenzie said: "Yes, absolutely, we have to do everything we can.""

https://www.skynews.com.au/australia-news/politics/nationals-senator-bridget-mckenzie-declares-coalition-will-repeal-labors-appalling-misinformation-bill/news-story/ca65b24674ef6805f6ac33d448da3c3e

I saw a chilling docco on the Stasi in the Nazi hour on SBS. The communist government set out to enshrine themselves as truth arbiters and define people arguing alternative views as peddlers of misinformation and disinformation. The irony is that rather than rid the population of evil doers, the government gave the evil doers privileged lives and employment, and complete freedom to terrorise the plebs.

No point in arguing with the peanut gallery any longer. Albo will have his bill passed soon and the ACMA goons will silence our voices.

Just because Bridget McKenzie says something doesn't mean it's true. Have a look at the Liberal Party website.

Your link comes up 'page can't be opened'.
