Albanese is bringing in an immigrant, each minute, everyday (IPA). He has no desire to turn off the tap, because 85% of Australia's economic growth relies on immigration, whether or not there is sufficient housing, infrastructure or any other need than to make Jim Chalmers look good (and make all of us suffer a lower share of individual GDP).

The Albanese government is lazy and lacking in economic plans.

Backpackers on special rural visas used to take care of our important harvesting, but Albanese stopped them. Now, it's all permanent immigration flooding the country - usefull or not.

With record mass immigration, we still have skill shortages!

There is still a month of mass immigration to be counted.

An election is coming.

Here is an analysis of immigration:

http://www.crikey.com.au/2024/07/15/immigration-peter-dutton-anthony-albanese-numbers/

As the country gears up for what the federal opposition
hopes will be an immigration election, Crikey brings us
the key figures on the issue:

Net migration intake in 2022-23, according to the latest
federal budget: 528,000.

Projected net migration intake in 2023-24: 395,000

Projected net migration intake in 2024-25: 260,000

Projected net migration intake in 2025-26: 255,000

Projected net migration intake in 2026-27 and 2027-28: 235,000

The number of times Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has
answered questions about migration in press conferences and
interviews so far in 2024 : at least - 60.

The number of times Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has answered
questions about migration in press conferences and interviews
so far in 2024: 47.

There's more at the link given above.

Goes to show that Dutton gives clearer answers so the questions don't need to be repeated as much as with Albanese. Has anyone asked Albanese how many Australians will lose accommodation to house the newcomers ?

Hi Foxy,

Unfortunately many on the far right, the old farts we have here for example, take a simplistic view of immigration and the benefits it has for the economy and society in general. In their minds eye they picture immigrants as desperate non-genuine "refugees" seeking asylum, arriving with no resources, and becoming a forever burden on society. Worse still they believe immigrants are infiltrators with sinister ulterior motive associated with terrorism. Of course this is all coming from their point of view of ignorance, and the reality is somewhat different. You know it, I know it, these fools know nothing.

If I may, I suggest that you don't take too much notice of Dutton, another career politician whose party was just as loose with immigration as this one.

We have always been subjected to "answers" from opposition, only to be disappointed. It's easy for Dutton to say he will undo what Albanese has done, but he cannot be trusted any more than any of the others who have made a cushy job out of politics - no qualifications needed.

The Liberal Party has been infiltrated by Leftists to the extent that it is barely different from Labor.

A country whose economy is 85% reliant on importing more people all the time is not going to last much longer - certainly not as a prosperous first world country as Australia used to be.

The objection to this crazy mass immigration has nothing to do with the immigrants themselves. Who wouldn't want to come here! The squeals of "racism" from the usual suspects is the only excuse that the can think of to continue flooding the country with people we should not and do not need.

An election is coming. People other than a few loons on OLO will be expressing their opinions at the ballot box. They will decide what's best for them.

Remember. The Liberal Party under their last leader with a backbone, rightly cracked down on illegals, but continued full steam ahead with the legal immigrants. Both sides want new voters, particularly when the old ones they treat badly start getting restless.

To make mass immigration - any immigration at the moment - even madder, the private sector job market is collapsing.

Fewer employers are recruiting than there were last year. Only 39% of them. Only 18% expect to increase their staff in the next 3 months.

As s well as permanent immigrants, Home Affairs reveals that 671,359 temporary student visas have been issued this year.

And we all know what that means: a lot more permanent immigrants via the back door of "education".

When the government's only goal is to “meet the needs of corporations embedded in the energy and immigration economies”, we get the worst stagflation in the world, according to David Llewellyn-Smith of Macrobusiness.

‘Over-immigration’.

The Albanese government is made up of children.

“Albonomics” has led directly to “record falls in living standards in two years”.

We have an “amazingly inept government”.

If anyone has any doubts about what high rates of immigration means
go look up (BBC best place) Leeds Riots.
Watching it, it was obvious the police did not have any control.
Police made the comment that the next level to control the riot is the
army and you know what that means, the troops will be armed.
The next step then is civil war.
