The UN is very bad joke.

Although it set up Israel in the first place, the UN has become the main forum for Israel-bashing.

All in all, the United Nations is a bad joke with, for example, Iran currently chairing the Human Rights Council.

The UN General Assembly hasn't even had the decency to condemn the Hamas massacre and rapes of October 7th; it's failure to do so was actually applauded. Staff of the the UN The Human Rights Council even “praised” the massacre.

It took weeks for UNICEF to acknowledge the hideous treatment of Israeli children. And, what about various women’s rights groups in the UN lack of interest in the October 7 “rape-fest”, who eventually got around to rambling, only one week ago, about “all accounts” of offences against women, not the Israeli victims specifically.

The UN is “utterly useless” at preventing violence. They stand by as unbelievable crimes take place, “delegitimising” themselves. (Source: “What’s the point of the UN?”, Douglas Murray, 9/12/23)

Stephen Daisley writing in The Spectator 24th February 2022
also asked the question "What is the point of the UN?"

He said that the UN "Does not exist to stop wars. It exists
to hope that wars are stopped."

" No institution is perfect, or has supernatural powers to
stop war or despotism and perhaps nothing could have persuaded
Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine. But the UN's failure to
prevent one fifth of its permanent Security Council from
over running another member state should give us pause."

He continues with - "It may be that we will have to change how
we think about the UN or change the UN itself."

The current situation in the Middle-East certainly shows us
that the UN needs to transform itself inline with current
geopolitical realities to maintain its relevance and improve
its effectiveness. Times have changed over the decades.
The UN has changed from 50 countries in 1945 to 193 countries
today.

We're told by various commentators that "The General Assembly
needs to be revitalized. The Security Council needs to be
reformed. And, the economic and social Council needs to be
reinvigorated. That the relationship between the General
Assembly and the Security Council needs to be strengthened."

We're told that:

"The work of the UN impacts people around the world on issues
related to peace and security, development and security rights
from disarmament efforts to combating terrorism and extremism,
from conflict prevention to peace keeping and peace building,
from disease prevention to the promotion of gender equality
and universal education with refugee resettlement, to
humanitarian assistance, from the rule of law to the fight
against transnational crime."

The UN does need to
transform itself in line with current geopolitical realities
to maintain its relevance and improve its effectiveness.
Not sure how this can be done - in getting people to agree.
But it needs to be done.

Anti-Semitic incidents in Australia have risen by 737% from last year.

. Death threats, graffiti
. Beatings
. Chants of ‘intifada’, ‘gas the Jews’, ‘f..k the Jews’

In October, 662 anti-Semitic incidents were reported. At the same time last year, ‘only’ 79 anti-Semitic incidents were reported.

No action has been taken against the anti-Semite, anti-Israel supporters and pro-terror thugs, of course, even though there is adequate legislation to do so.

It is clear that Australia is becoming like all the other non-democratic hater-countries infesting the United Nations.

Embarrassingly, Jews are now warned not to visit Australia.

Mass immigration and multiculturalism have changed Australia beyond recognition. Successive governments have allowed hordes of barbarians to import their cultures and vile hatreds.

Politicians will import anyone, and pander to them, if they think that they can get their votes; character, ingrained culture, and decency don't matter. More than 800 Visas given to Gaza Arabs in quick time, when official, experienced operatives take months, even years, to verify the suitability and security status of people claiming refugee status

In the UN, Australia shamelessly voted for a ceasefire by Israel that would strengthen Hamas terrorists. Hopefully, Israel will continue and succeed with its intention to wipe out Hamas - with one hand tied behind its back by the UN and gutless countries like Australia.

WHO is a branch of the United Nations that perpetuates the organisation's bias and anti-Semtism by painting Israel as a health violater, ludicrously accusing it of not giving non-Israeli Arabs equal access Covid vaccines - instead of blaming the Palestinian governing authorities, including Hamas.

Contrast that bigotry with WHO's silence on Hamas's deliberate disabling of Israel ambulances, and Hamas's murdering of Israeli first responders.

And let's not forget the terrorists’ use of hospitals as arms stores and resultant deaths of their own people.

The United Nations has normalised one-sided condemnation of Israel, and the Albanese government is part of that shameful position. It's not just the non-Western, undemocratic totalitarian countries at fault any more. No self-respecting nation should have a bar of the UN, let alone pay for it with taxpayer money.

United Nations-financed schools are using money from countries like Australia to teach Palestinian to hate Jews.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) provides, among other things, schools for the children of Palestinian refugees.

Since the Hamas atrocities of October 7,it has been reported, in the UN, that UNRWA teachers are celebrating Hamas terrorism on social media and in schools foolishly funded by the West, to indoctrinate Palestinian children and keep the hatred of Jews going.

Two hundred of these teachers have been identified. They still have their jobs. They are still getting $1 billion a year from the UN - and us; and, presumably Israel, which pays its dues to the dreadful UN.

Dear Foxy,

It was interesting seeing China vetoing A US resolution on the Israeli/Gaza conflict a couple of months back calling it "evasive" and "seriously out of balance".

While it is not all that edifying having one serial human rights abuser calling out an abuser such as Israel it was welcome none the less.

Dear Steele,

Australia also shifted its position to vote in favour
of a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. It joined 152
other nations in favour of the resolution.

Under the whole sorry episode is the reality that the fundamental
dispute is whether democracy or Sharia Law will take over the world.
The Islamists make no secret that their aim is to obey Allah and
subject the world to Islamic rule and Sharia Law by or without the sword.

They make no secret of this aim. Every move they make is with that aim
in mind. No doubt there are moslems who do not have this aim but they
can never admit it, they just avoid discussing the politics of it all.
Never the less they will always give Islam their support.
The mosques press the aim and guide the faithful in those aims.
No one will argue against the aims publicaly.

So the upshot is it does not matter what cease fire is agreed or not
they will keep on pushing and the settlement of two states never did
have a realistic chance as it cannot exist with the calls of the Koran.
If such an agreement was made, it would only be temporary.
There is no point in making agreements with the Islamists.

For Israel, it is clear that if Hamas is to survive and rebuild, there will be continuous war for decades and those living in Gaza will continue to suffer. Only the elimination of Hamas can bring peace.

SR,

China using its veto to support war crimes in Israel and Gaza is no surprise.

Shadow Minister,

The whole world is asking Israel to cease the occupation
and get out of Gaza.

The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights stirs the pot by publishing unverified accusations against the IDF by an NGO called Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, a “youth-led” anti-Israel outfit.

This shady mob claims that the IDF committed atrocities similar to those of Hamas terrorists on 7 October: “separated a group of men from the women and children, and then shot and killed at least 11 of the men in front of their family members. The IDF then allegedly ordered the women and children into a room, and either shot at them or threw a grenade into the room, reportedly seriously injuring some of them, including an infant and a child.”

There is even a video showing “eye witnesses” giving the gory details of the ‘massacre’ with one character saying that he told the IDF that the ‘victims’ were civilians.

How come the IDF left this person and the other “eye witnesses” alive to tell the story?

The IDF has investigated the claims, as any civilised entity would, and found no evidence.

The publication of these unverified accusations by unidentified persons is proof of the OHCHR’s partisanship in reporting the war and its anti-Israel bias.

It is well-known that Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor’s leadership routinely posts antisemitic and pro-Hamas content online. Its Chairman has hailed the Hamas terrorist's “spirit of resistance”.

The United Nations should be defunded by all democratic countries, and abandoned to the Communist and Islamist thugs who are running it, and good riddance.

A divergence from the UN to another lot of liars and fools, the climate hysterics, with their 'hottest year ever' nonsense.

Christmas Day in hot, dry Adelaide. It's currently 17 degrees and overcast, with a forecast of a top of 19 degrees, and 33% chance of rain. What a joke! No wonder farmers are turning to private forecasters for proper results, and quiet Australians are not listening to the loonies any more.

Hopefully, in the New Year, the quiet Australians, will take notice of the obvious: that the useless pricks in Canberra and the UN presuming to run our lives are, at best, not up to the job; at worst, evil bastards.

Hopefully the result of the Voice referendum is just the start.

The "quiet Australians" have spoken, and they
said - "Enough!"

The last election showed us that clearly.

They've created a new political force - the teal
independents who are the repository of traditional
values, financial prudence and integrity with an
added 21st century priority of climate change.

"Israel’s ambassador to Australia, Amir Maimon, speaks an uncomfortable truth when he questions whether his country is being held to a different standard than that which would be imposed on others. His concerns point to disappointment at the Albanese government’s contradictory support for a UN ceasefire motion that failed to hold Hamas to account for the atrocities of the October 7 invasion and massacre. Moral confusion plays into the hands of those intent on spreading anti-Semitic sentiments, many of whom are doubtless unaware of the centuries-long prejudices from which it draws its roots."

Shadow Minister,

Here's just a snippet from Miriam Margolyes's book -
"Oh Miriam" :

"My family was never Zionist, but I did go to Israel
as a young woman. I worked on a kibbutz in the Negev
as a seventeen year old. I thought the idea of a
kibbutz was rather a wondrous notion. I didn't know
much about Palestine . I felt that Israel had won the
war and the Jews would survive. And that was good."

"But little by little as I became more political, I
educated myself. The more I read books and articles
about the situation, the more I became critical of Israel."

"When I went to Palestine in 2012, I saw for myself
the contempt and cruelty with which Israelis treated
Palestinians. I met Palestinian people and listened to
their personal stories. I saw the devastation of the
hospitals that the Israelis had bombed. I saw incredible
overcrowding. I saw the filth and stench in the streets
of Hebron."

"I saw the nets that the Arabs have to put up to protect
themselves from the settlers who shower them with mulch and
rubbish. It was a searing experience that really shook me."

"The Palestinian people were not being treated in a
humane way. They are being humiliated,
arrested, and most poignant of all, how they had been
torn from their homes, and their lands taken away."

"Their daily lives are being squeezed and destroyed.
I, as a Jew have the full right of return -
no Palestinian does. It is just not fair. "

"The Israelis feel that they can carry through things
without reference to international law. What they are
doing is illegal. Yet nobody seems to take any notice."

" What happens in Israel DOES concern me. "

She makes it quite clear that:

" It's the Israeli government's persecution of Palestinians
that is the evil - not being Jewish. It is possible to be
proudly Jewish and vehemently anti Zionist. As I am."

Hear, hear.

“Australians have rejected the condescending, left-wing, woke agenda of big business,” IPA Senior Fellow John Roskam said in summing up the results.

64% of Australians told pollsters they’re put off by corporate wokeness. 60% fed up with identity politics as per the Voice referendum. The majority of Australians are on the move against Leftist bullsh-t. The honeymoon is over for the ultra-Left Albanese government.

The pity of it all is that we don't have anything to replace the no-hopers with; certainly not the Coalition. Maybe the Nationals, who didn't lose a single seat at the last election, should team up with One Nation, Family First, UAP and even the Libertarians to save the country from the Green Labor Corporate Fascists, and leave the Dutton small liberals to sputter out. Labor is already on the skids with less than 30% of the primary vote.

The IPA poll making up the discontent with current situation ranged from the lowest sentiment of 52% among 18-24 years olds; 50% for 25-34 year olds; 58% for 35-44 year olds; 62% for 45-54 year olds; 74% for 55-64 year olds, and 78% for 65+ year olds.

And it is a fact that the younger ones will get more conservative as they age.

Labor has gone from being the party of the socially conservative working man/woman to being the best buddy of Big Business. The Liberal Party has gone to, well …. nothing much.

The people who said ‘enough’ at the last action are now saying it again, halfway through Albanese's term. By saying that that woke Big Business (and woke sport us part of it) doesn't represent their values puts the black spot on Albanese and his motley crew, whose values are inline with Big Big Business.

His sucking up to a Communist dictator says it all about nasty Albanese, on top of all his other failings. Big Business might ignore the horrors of Communism for the mighty dollar, but ordinary Australians don't.

United Nations has admitted that UN Women Deputy Chief Sarah Douglas “committed a violation of the Code of Conduct” in connection with her anti-Israel activity on social media.

She endorsed 153 posts since October 7th that promoted anti-Zionism and accused Israel of genocide.

There has been a rare admission by the UN of malfeasance committed by one of their senior officials.

Douglas is in violation of the UN's code of conduct.

She also attacked the U.S. and glorified former PLO official Hanan Ashrawi, who recently defended the October 7th massacre.

This woman's silence on the violation of Israel women by Hamas should see her being sacked.

It has been pointed out that ‘UN Women’ has been silent about Hamas’ atrocities toward innocent civilians, now and in the past.

There are calls from the US Senate (dozy Australian politicians probably don't even know about it) for Sarah Douglas to be fired, after the UN admitted she had violated their code of conduct by "spewing antisemetic rhetoric" publicly.

Although her tweets have been deleted, screenshots of them are being held as evidence of her vile attacks.

Douglas should be sacked by the UN for "publicly endorsing the Hamas narrative", when UN staff are specifically forbidden from making public statements.

The "Wachowski Brothers/ Sisters" said in The Matrix- "everyone hooked into The Matrix is potentially an Agent"- perhaps it is the same with Hebrew's and other situation's- ironically the Wachowski "sibling's" appear to have "Polish" ancestry.
