Why bother about the COVID show, concentrate on the next one & tell us up front about the right way to deal with it ?
Let's see what these experts can up with in foresight mode instead of wasting our Dollars with hindsight ! Posted by Indyvidual, Saturday, 30 September 2023 8:09:25 PM

If there is a next time - a different set of scaremongers is telling us there will be - we want to be assured that it won't be mishandled like the Covid debacle was.
It seems that the Albanese whitewash will not give us that assurance. It needs to be talked about, hammered, until our political class gets the message that this is not China or Russia, and that we, the people, are the ones who decide if they keep the jobs or not. Remember that secret ballot, and how we decide how to fill it in, not them. Posted by ttbn, Sunday, 1 October 2023 7:45:15 AM

ttbn, That sentence tells me already that the next round will be handled no different ! Posted by Indyvidual, Wednesday, 4 October 2023 8:56:28 AM

Yep. And it seems that posters here don't care. Fortunately, people in the real world do, particularly those who actually read, and those who follow the growing alternative media. All is not lost. Posted by ttbn, Wednesday, 4 October 2023 9:08:49 AM

Dear indyvidual,
What debacle? The USA lost nearly 1.2 million of its citizens to Covid. Our ratios where are fraction of that due to strong leadership and largely competent decisions. We really should be celebrating rather than bemoaning anything. How about you be a little more grateful to be living in a country like ours where the government and its citizens cared enough about fellow Australians that we mostly all put in to get the result that we did. Good on us. Posted by SteeleRedux, Wednesday, 4 October 2023 10:31:18 AM

Wow, what a surprise, SR praising Scott Morrisons leadership.
He is of course wrong on that, as he is with everything else. Posted by Hasbeen, Wednesday, 4 October 2023 11:11:22 AM

Vaccine Inventor REFUSES New Covid Booster!

Two scientists responsible for the vaccines have been awarded the Nobel Prize. Shows how little notice has been taken of how deadly, useless at best, their products were.

Yep, & those who survived because of the vaccine aren't asked their opinion !
I have actually listened to people in conversations when they said they had the jabs & in other conversations that they refused. Depends what kind of company they're in at the time. Much like the Voice situation ! Posted by Indyvidual, Thursday, 5 October 2023 10:30:28 AM

I am a fully vaccinated person, but I don’t think anyone who doesn’t want the vaccinations should be forced to do so, or prevented from taking part in any activities or work.
I would, however, like to see PROOF that anyone survived Covid because of the vaccines, and how they knew that they would not have survived if they hadn't been vaccinated. I've seen proof that people have DIED after being vaccinated. Posted by ttbn, Thursday, 5 October 2023 10:41:42 AM

Dear Armchair Critic,
You posted a link to a video saying "Vaccine Inventor REFUSES New Covid Booster!" He doesn't say that in the video at all. He says at the moment he believes his T cell count remains high from previous vaccines and a subsequent mild Covid infection so at this stage he wasn't running out to get boosted. He also talks about the need for continual assessments of the efficacy of the vaccines against new strains something I support. Why is your takeaway so different that you would overhype what he said? Hey SteeleRedux,
Truthfully, I only watched half the video. If that's what he said I'll take your word for it. Posted by Armchair Critic, Thursday, 5 October 2023 12:55:35 PM

ttbn, How certain are you that people actually died from the vaccine & not just with it ? Posted by Indyvidual, Friday, 6 October 2023 6:38:27 PM

Don't know if this is true or not

Are people really so stupid as to believe medication is 100% suitable for everyone ?
Medication is designed & expected to work for as many as possible but not all. If some people react adversely to medication that's known as an allergic reaction, don't blame the vaccine for that. A patient could have a rare blood type or a history of drug abuse or was born with an unusual condition. Those who constantly criticise medication failing at times should really produce their version of vaccine & then accept blame when it doesn't work on someone else ! Those who refuse treatment due to some conspiracy believe should sign a waver for treatment when they get sick so as not to clog the health system ! With the inquiry recently being described as a "protection racket for Labor premiers" , and Albanese's seeming lack of interest in and respect for Australians, I don't think that sort of success is intended. It could all happen again, under any number of excuses.
Cater is of a 'wait and see mind', but he does question what this panel can tell us that we don't already know about the many things that our governments "got wrong" in the pandemic.
. How did they fail to learn from their mistakes?
. How did they insulate themselves from realistic feedback?
The government and 'experts':-
. Hung onto a set of "flawed assumptions".
. They arrogantly ignored "discordant facts".
. They rejected contrary opinions.
Over the three years of "expert tyranny", we have learned that "discordant voices must not only be heard but encouraged". And that the assumption of "perfect knowledge by the expert class" leads to "catastrophic policy errors".
The measures that the "anointed" have taken over the last 250 years to defend the prevailing vision "reached a watershed" during Covid, with the "narrowing focus" of the mainstream media and the collusion of Big Tech.
The Covid experience should be enough to knock in the head the Combating Misinformation and Disinformation Bill, according to Nick Cater.
There's more. An interesting read for the non-ideological driven open minded.
