Voting for a change of representation to a conservative member in a free and fair election now means the democratic process is in danger.
I don't think so ... but that's what the lefties would have us all believe.
Obama, if you'd read and listened to the US media, even the leftie mainstream, now judge Obama to be a 'Lame Duck'.
Four factors have caused this.
1.Basically he pushed an idealogical health care people didn't understand nor want. They think it will hurt the coverage and care those already insured have. That's mostly white middle class and employed (Working) people... swinging voters.
2, He promised to change the way things were done in Washington.
(a)In particular the 'add ons' to secure votes to pass legislation in the Senate. The health bill contained nearly a trillion dollars of 'add ons' to secure support from Democratic Senators. When no Republican did any deals it was asked why did Obama needed to buy Democratic votes, they already had a Super Majority which would have enabled them to pass any health legislation.
(b)He promised not to bow to special interest groups. It was a major blow when Union Leaders lined up in front of the tv cameras and boasted they had done a deal which excluded their members from helping to pay for the Heatlh Care. Every other worker faced a 1.5% levy. That was very damaging.
3. His bills and the 'add ons' were seen as massively contributing to growing debt.
3. The Democrates completely overlooked the voters are holding them responsible for the failures of the bailouts, the special interest deals which they see are causing the rising unemployment, rising non-participation and under-employment. Blaming Bush just doesn't cut with them.
Many feel Obama is all talk, idealogically drive, partisan and doing a terrible job on the economy.
Brown ran on two issues.
'I'll stop Obamacare'
and
'Why doesn't Obama address rising debt and the worsening economy.'
Obama has absolutely no cerdibility among swinging voters ... nationwide.
